My favorite month of the year!!!!!!!!!!!! Partially because of 10.26 : )
My plan this morning was to get up and run, then have breakfast/blog, then walk to the farmer’s market, then head on my tour.
Yeah, none of that happened…except breakfast! Stayed up too late!

It’s chilly here too! I have awesome plans for October though. The leaves are turning color and look spectacular and I’m headed up North next weekend to check out a massive corn maze!

Ain’t it funny how we love our Bday months? Mine is Xmas eve and growing up I was sure the whole world celebrated all Dec bc of me.

i too had a run planned this morning but it went right out the window when i didn’t roll out of bed until 8:25! Sometimes it’s good to sleep in though.

I CANNOT believe it’s October already!!! Is it sad that I’m more excited for pumpkin breakfast foods and crunchy leaves under my feet than a sane person should be? Enjoy your time at the Farm and bring back lots of pictures!

Hi Kath! I just wanted to let you know that I froze half a can of pumpkin puree last weekend and I just defrosted it and used it in pumpkin waffles successfully. It worked great, wasn’t watery or anything!
I froze it in medium ziplock bags and defrosted it in the fridge overnight. This morning I microwaved it in a bowl for a minute to dissolve any ice crystals, stir it well, and used as you please

I love October too. What’s so special on Oct 26?
October is most definitely the best month of the year, especially in the southeast. Of course, I look forward to 10•3 (and this year, I’ll turn 26!) I too love anything and everything with pumpkin. My coworker asked me if I liked pumpkin muffins on Friday…she isn’t good and keeping secrets…so I’m very much looking forward to pumpkin cupcakes on Monday! Enjoy the beautiful weather and eat yourself a TON of pumpkin!
