Magic shell clump!!!!

IMG_8130 (640x427) (2)

Spent the morning watching the Teen Nick channel on Direct TV. Full House marathon!!!!!!!! Man that show is good, but so so so corny!! Did we really think the dialogue was realistic back then?

Plans for biking and running with friends this morning. But my stomach is kind wonky :( More digestion needs to occur first.  I think I’ve been eating too much!! I do not like it when I wake up not very hungry. It ruins breakfast! Hunger is the best sauce.

I need to try coconut butter…I love coconuts but it’s so expensive.

2 holly @ July 25, 2010 at 7:49 am

What a beautiful SIAB! I also can tell that I’ve been eating too much when I don’t wake up hungry — time for me to take care of that now.

I love love love Full House. Uncle Jesse is the best.

3 Freya @ Brit Chick Runs July 25, 2010 at 7:57 am

Is coconut butter the same as coconut oil? I know that sounds stupid…but I think coconut oil is solid at room temp so I wondered if they were thesame thing…hmm!
Hope you feel better soon :)

4 Kath July 25, 2010 at 7:58 am

Coconut oil has been pressed from the coconut.

Coconut butter is blended coconut meat into a butter.

They are very similar though!

5 Evan Thomas July 25, 2010 at 8:00 am

Happy Sunday!
Re: the last comment. because the butter is the meat, it’s more fiberous. I also think it’s a tad sweeter

6 Heather (Heather's Dish) July 25, 2010 at 8:00 am

i was just thinking the same thing about full house the other day! it’s hilarious that i thought there was a real family that interacted like that :)

7 Jess. July 25, 2010 at 8:02 am

Ha! I often think that about many old shows and movies that I loved. Even ones from my teenage years which wasn’t really that long ago…. I never remember thinking they were so cheesy at the time tho and I still enjoy them :)

8 Cara July 25, 2010 at 8:10 am

I was a die hard Full House fan when I was younger…and yes, back then I took it very seriously and was always very touched by the heart to heart moments at the end of each episode! Ha! Gotta love it.

9 Niki (Running in Pink) July 25, 2010 at 8:16 am

That SIAB looks oh so amazing!

Fun fact: John Stamos was just in my hometown last week for a federal extortion trial against two people here who tried to extort $680,0000 from him for alleged incriminating photos they had from a Florida trip a few years ago. Google it if you are actually interested in more info. :)

But it was pretty sweet to have a celebrity roaming our little town for a week! Plus, he is more gorgeous now then he was then! *swoon*

10 Faith @ LovelyAsCharged July 25, 2010 at 8:17 am

Hahaha, I love watching shows I enjoyed back as a kid and thinking geez, did I really get into this? It was such a cute show, though…and now I don’t mind watching the episodes with Uncle Jesse… 😉

11 Michelle July 25, 2010 at 8:28 am

I know how you feel about waking up not hungry. Describes me today. Bleh!

12 Emily July 25, 2010 at 8:37 am

Hey Kath!
Random, I know, but what do you add to your daily coffee??
Also, what are your feelings on coconut milk??

You rock lady! Look forward to reading everyday

13 Kath July 25, 2010 at 8:44 pm

Just milk. Usually organic skim, but I prefer 1%.

Love coconut milk

14 Marisa @ Loser for Life July 25, 2010 at 8:41 am

I love watching Full House with my daughters!

Enjoy your day, Kath!

15 Rose-Anne July 25, 2010 at 8:44 am

Oh, Full House! That was always a guilty pleasure of mine…so cheesy but it goes down so easy!

Coconut butter…{swoon!} I just ate mine on top of overnight oatmeal.

16 Janna (Janna's Keeping it Real) July 25, 2010 at 9:00 am

Ahhh! Love full house and love that you spent some of your morning watching it!

Hope you have a great run. I’m having that same “wonky” feeling and hoping it passes so I can finally head out the door for my long run! Better late than never?

17 Melissa @ HerGreenLife July 25, 2010 at 9:07 am

I’m sure all the stress is not helping your stomach or appetite, either. Here’s hoping that things are settled soon!

18 tanyasdaily July 25, 2010 at 9:13 am

I like the photo of the cereal up -close, good photography!

19 Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg July 25, 2010 at 9:16 am

Beautiful pictures! So vibrant and fun!

20 Courtney July 25, 2010 at 9:21 am

Kath, do you ever have stomach aches from drinking coffee? I love coffee and have a cup (or two) every morning but lately it has been making me feel really sick to my stomach. I don’t want to give it up but it hasn’t gone away and I don’t know what to do. I should add that this only happens in the morning, if for some reason I have a cup in the evening I’m fine!

21 Kath July 25, 2010 at 8:44 pm

Sometimes. I can’t have two cups!!! That makes it ….run right through me. But one is usually ok.

22 Estela @ Weekly Bite July 25, 2010 at 9:25 am

What great breakfast pics!

Have a great Sunday :)

23 Camille July 25, 2010 at 9:32 am

Mmm, yummy breakfast!
It it were me, everything would have gone right over the edge :)

24 Wei-Wei July 25, 2010 at 9:36 am

Yum, mango! I love SIAB, they look so good! I hope you have a great day Kath! :)

25 Erin July 25, 2010 at 9:37 am

Love those big, fresh blackberries. Looks refreshing!

26 Lauren July 25, 2010 at 9:39 am

Ya know, my stomach has been pretty weird lately and it could very well be from eating too much…

27 Alyssa July 25, 2010 at 9:45 am

I am the world’s biggest full house fan! Last night Uncle Jesse performed with the beach boys and I saw him live – best day ever! Enjoy your Sunday!

28 The Vegan Tiffin July 25, 2010 at 10:09 am

Those berries look sooooo good! I am jealous – no berries where I am at the moment…

29 Monica July 25, 2010 at 10:12 am

Haha, oh Full House, when that music cues in it is somewhat painful knowing the level of cheese factor that is just around the corner.

I feel the same way when I watch Dawson’s Creek, I love it so much, but laugh that I use to get so swept up in the storyline when I was younger.

30 Ilana July 25, 2010 at 10:20 am

Hi Kath,
Not that you haven’t thought of it but I bet all the transitions and emotions are affecting
your tum. Totally normal for a sensitive soul!
I never liked change much me-self. Anyway….
I thought I’d introduce myself.
I’ve only just discovered your blog, but I just
wanted to tell you that a) you are awesome
and talented! and b) life in CVille will be
so much fun. My sis lived there for 6 years
and it is gonna be great for you, too! Cheerio.

31 Kath July 25, 2010 at 8:45 pm

32 Ilana July 26, 2010 at 1:06 am

Thanks, Kath! :) Have a blissful yoga exerience manana!

33 Ilana July 26, 2010 at 1:08 am

uh, exPerience.

34 Michelle @ Give Me the Almond Butter July 25, 2010 at 10:44 am

I agree. Full house was pretty corny, but I loved the Olsen twins.

35 Chelsea (Chelsea's Chew and Run Fun) July 25, 2010 at 10:57 am

I can’t get over how plump and ripe those blackberries look. I can’t wait until the ones on my property are ripe enough to pluck.

“Full House” is easily one of those guilty pleasure shows that I adored in childhood, and when channel surfing I’ll always put the remote brakes on the remote to see what Danny and the gang are up to.

36 Liz @ Tip Top Shape July 25, 2010 at 11:23 am

Haha, I love Full House marathons. Something you realize watching it when you are older? Uncle Jesse was a HOTTIE. lol

37 Elaine @ Om Sweet Om July 25, 2010 at 11:32 am

Your photos are beautiful, as always. I do agree that breakfast should be enjoyed when you’re hungry! I try not to eat after dinner, and if I do i make sure I keep them light. I love waking up hungry and enjoy every single bite of a leisurely breakfast!

38 Amanda July 25, 2010 at 11:32 am

I loved full house! I work at a daycare where they are two twins that look exactly like the olsen twins as two year olds!

39 Kate July 25, 2010 at 11:44 am

Don’t you think stress could be making your stomach feel strange/not hungry?

40 [email protected]:// July 25, 2010 at 12:11 pm

I have tried the coconut butter shell, it’s amazing.

41 Jessica @ How Sweet It Is July 25, 2010 at 12:12 pm

I could watch Full House 24/7. For real.

42 Judy July 25, 2010 at 12:13 pm

I find myself checking your blog more than once a day now to make sure things are ok. I’m so praying for you and Matt that things go well. Funny how this internet brings people together….
God Bless and I love your blog.

43 [email protected] July 25, 2010 at 12:20 pm

It sounds like an active day! I hope it is an escape from your stresses. I’ll keep sending warm wishes your way.

44 Meagan July 25, 2010 at 12:40 pm

What a delicious looking breakfast! I’m still LOVING that bowl!

45 Ashley July 25, 2010 at 1:05 pm

I never really commented about you losing location for your bakery, so I just wanted to say something quick. I LOVE your blog and think you and your husband are mentors for many people for how to live a healthy lifestyle. I think both of you will be very successful it whatever endeavours you choose. Who knows perhaps this will lead to something even better.

46 Ana July 25, 2010 at 1:07 pm

Yummy looking SIAB! I love mangoes!!
I am just like you as I hate when I don’t wake up hungry, I love eating breakfast, it is by far my favorite meal of the day!! (smoothies, fruits, oats, never can go wrong!)

47 Sarah July 25, 2010 at 1:32 pm

Hello again! I was just wondering if you knew of any bloggers like yourself in Savannah Ga? It seems so nice to have such a great group of girls interested in the same things as you! Did you get them all started on blogging or found the friendships through it? Best wishes in Charlottesville, what a beautiful city! Go Cavs :)

48 Kath July 25, 2010 at 8:46 pm

Not off the top of my head :( Keep looking though!

Both on the friendships. Some already had blogs, some didn’t.

49 lynn (The Actors Diet) July 25, 2010 at 2:31 pm

Wow – You take great photos! I love Full House too! (Too bad I missed the marathon…)

52 Lauren @ BIOCHEMISTA July 25, 2010 at 2:46 pm

I LOVEEEEEE Full House re-runs! Other fav’s are Step by Step, Family Matters, and 90210! :) :)

Aaaaand I may or may not own seasons 1-9 of 90210 and have re-watched ALL of them 😉

53 Lea @ Healthy Coconut July 25, 2010 at 3:39 pm

I love coconut. I think I’m on my 3rd jar of coconut butter and I use coconut oil for most of my cooking.

Once in awhile when I’m home on Saturday morning, I’ll catch reruns of “Saved by the Bell”. That show and Full House reminds me of the time when life was very simple growing up, before we became very busy adults.

54 [email protected] July 25, 2010 at 4:16 pm

That breakfast look soo yummy. I’m dying to try coconut butter. Or make some :-)

55 Paige (Running Around Normal) July 25, 2010 at 4:31 pm

Hunger is the best sauce – I love that! so very true:)
Hope your stomach feels better soon!

56 Lisa @bakebikeblog July 25, 2010 at 5:18 pm

oh my – I used to LOVE full house!!!

57 Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin July 25, 2010 at 5:43 pm

I love catching marathons of my old favourite tv shows and watching them guiltlessly for hours on end. 😀

58 polly July 25, 2010 at 6:33 pm

Abbi eats COCONUT MAGIC SHELL 😛 on her oats or cereal or fruit or french toast or chicken… ALL the time! We both LOOOOOOOOOOVE it. Once I put a thin layer of it in the fridge and it is just like eating a white chocolate candy bar! 😀

Love ya! I have foodie pics on my blog today. Oats… the Kath food. :) XOXO

59 Kath July 25, 2010 at 8:47 pm

oh yay!!!

60 Sarah (Running to Slow Things Down) July 25, 2010 at 7:02 pm

Haha…I was such a Full House fan (kinda still am, really 😀 ). But you’re right. Corny, corny, corny. I think that’s one of the reasons it was so appealing though, if that makes any sense at all. 😉

Your breakfast looks delicious! 😀

61 Cynthia (It All Changes) July 25, 2010 at 7:03 pm

I’m loving the photos in this post. I got the opportunity to play with a DSLR yesterday and I had so much fun taking photos like this. The food looks beautiful.

62 Callie July 25, 2010 at 8:08 pm

I have a $12 jar of coconut oil in my kitchen. So expensive, but so good. :)
Love the pictures!

63 ronnie July 25, 2010 at 8:13 pm

Gosh, I really don’t think I could sit through an episode of Full House now. Syrupy sweet corny.

64 Vivi July 25, 2010 at 9:09 pm

blackberries and mango is such a good combo! I have to try this!

65 Hannah July 26, 2010 at 12:27 am

Oh gosh, I’ve never been able to stomach Full House! Maybe it’s cause I’m lacking the American gene 😛 Could definitely stomach some magic shell, though!
