Yup, I was out running! Then eating!
It was a lovely morning to run, although the summer humidity is here to stay. I did 4.0 miles. Simple. Easy enough.
Overnight oats followed!!
In the jar:
1/3 cup oats
1 tbsp chia seeds
Cinnamon
Pinch salt
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup yogurt
–> all mixed together and overnight in the fridge
Morning Layers:
Sunflower butter smeared on the sides (was not as good as OIAJ with the nut butter residue – my layer today was too thin!)
CVILLE CLUSTER!
Berries!!
Guess what?
Great Harvest Cville online – shippable to you!
My most exciting OpenSky deal ever is going on RIGHT NOW! In fact, it’s nearly sold out already!
OpenSky enabled me to sell our top 3 mixes to you!!! Thanks so much to them because this means we can let them handle all the nitty gritty details of orders while we just have to make the mixes.
Easier said than done. Matt has filled 300 of these bags by hand!!
My favorite granola ever. I’ve been in love since I first had it as Lynda’s Granola from Warrenton! It’s the clusters!!
Also included in the deal – a video of the bakery lobby!!
Continuing breakfast with two mugs of iced coffee!
See you from GH CVille!

Just picked up some fresh raspberries! Can’t wait to use them with breakfast tomorrow! YAY!
i saw this on open sky! how awesome and what a great taste of great harvest. i think i may have to get one for myself and to keep as a gift. yup you have the most perfect overnight oats recipe-it is a keeper
Your oats jar looks beautiful! That looks like a lot of work – filling those bags. Thanks to Matt!
TOO funny! I was just wondering yesterday if your GH could ship granola! Gotta love Open Sky
Maybe I just need to take another trip down to see the Bakery to pick up my own, too! Mmmmm. I had my eye on the pancake mix last time I was there, too!
wow!!! congrats Kath! thats awesome you can sell your products online now. can’t wait to try the cville clusters and you officially have me hooked on naturally nutty vanilla almond butter
That’s so awesome!! I will definitely have to check out Open Sky! Or I might just have to make the hour long drive down to Cville to get some in person
I didn’t know that there was a GH in Warrenton! My mom works there and lives only 10 minutes away. I was just there last week!!
Just ordered the OpenSky deal – can’t wait to try it all!
How exciting about the Open Sky deal! I would for sure take you up on the offer, but since it’s almost sold out, I think I’ll leave it for those who don’t have their own GH nearby.
Great Harvest products rock!!
YAY for Cville GH going national! (Global?!) Congrats!
That’s so exciting Kath! Any chance you’ll be shipping to Canada any time soon? (Open Sky doesn’t work for Canadian addresses – not that I know of anyway.)
So sorry Angela, but not yet
Smearing nut butter on the sides of the jar is a brilliant idea! Now I don’t have to wait to finish a jar to have that treat.
How exciting for you…and for all of us who get to order it…and eat it!
I nearly spit out my coffee this morning when that OpenSky email showed up in my inbox. I was SO excited! And then I promptly bought it and freaked out about how excited I was about it on my breakfast post
Tell Matt thanks for filling one of my bags – I can’t wait for it to arrive!
Also – you guys are SO adorable in that video I can’t even take it!! I didn’t get to watch it this morning because I was in a rush, but I just did and had the biggest grin on my face the entire time. I love Matt’s description of why the granola clusters are so great. I can’t wait to “pop! pop! pop!” them in my mouth when my order arrives
The store looks amazing- I only wish it was in my neck of the woods, I would go all the time!
The correct phonetic spelling is: gnomph, gnomph, gnomph!
Haha – got it!
Love the tour of the store. You have a beautiful store! The orange color is the best.
Wait…. So is your granola the same as Lynda’s with just the clusters?! I bought a bag of it in Warrenton, at your suggestion, and had to put the bag away so I didn’t polish it off on the drive home! So delicious!
I will be at C-Ville GH this Saturday. Save me a bag!
Same recipe!
That is very exciting for you guys! I got the openSky email today about it!
I’m glad OpenSky was able to let you sell these products — seems like you have plenty of readers who are interested!
Any chance you’ll do JUST the granola? I have a local Great Harvest but their granola doesn’t have the clusters like that. I’d totally buy the granola, but it doesn’t seem worth paying the shipping for the other 2 things that I can get walking distance from my house. Just curious!
Or…maybe you can share your recipe for the granola with the Delaware Great Harvest store and they can make it for me
Delaware GH can get the recipe – tell them to email Pablo in Warrenton – or US!
I would have bought this in a heart beat, but I was fortunate enough to swing through the bakery on my way back from July 4th festivities.
I cannot get enough of Cville Cluster Granola!!!!
It took me two seconds to buy this deal when I saw it in my e-mail this morning! I bought the granola when we visited the store in June and haven’t been able to eat any other. So excited to have it again!
I bought the OpenSky deal this morning and I’m so excited! One question…do the packages happen to have nutritional info on them? I couldn’t tell from the photos/video.
They do, but that info is also in the images on the OpenSky sale page
Ha! I was in such a rush to buy before they were sold out that I didn’t even notice the additional images! Thanks!
Video is cute, I was happy to take the tour from my seat here in Boston. Just wish I had the bread samples to go along with it!
Can’t wait to try that granola
store is looking great guys!
Kath! Opensky doesn’t ship to Canada… is there another way to buy the granola?
I’m sorry Linda, but not at this time
So exciting! I’ve been wondering if we would be able to buy things from your store!
Hi Kath!
Is there is any chance you’ll offer the granola separately as I am less interested in the other two items in the package? Perhaps a bundle of two packages of granola? I suppose it would be more practical for me to swing by my local GH, but I’m unfort. they don’t sell it.
Have a great hump day!
Karen
We may do another combination, but doing just one bag at a time had too much processing cost to make it worth it
I completely understand, Kath. Another question: In examining the nutritional panel, I notice that salt is a minor ingrediant, so why does the sodium content read 0?
I’m not sure. I’d have to research that. Maybe because it’s so low it’s negligible?
Hmm…While the few mg. of sodium naturally occurring in oatmeal, etc. might be rounded to 0, if there’s any amount of salt, there would be enough sodium to list and I expect it would be required.
That is weird. The Great Harvest dietitian does the calculations for us. I’ll email her to see.
I saw that this morning!!! YAY!!!! Thanks Kath & Matt for all your work so that the love can be spread around!
How cool, handpacked by Matt
love the video!
I am so excited about the shipping!!! Any bread shipping in the near future? The cinnamon chip is soooooo good made into French toast!
We probably won’t ever be able to do bread due to the shelf life
the layer of sunbutter looks good! but i can see why a full jar of residue would taste better…
A beauty of a breakfast jar! I need to start adding some crunch to my oats. Perhaps in the form of cville granola!
That is awesome that we all get a taste of Great Harvest Cville faves in our very own home
So cool!

So excited….placing my order now!
Your bakery looks amazing! I wish I lived local so I could come visit all the time, although you’ve encouraged me to start supporting my local GH–in Seattle!
I am all over that Open Sky deal!
Your overnight oats always look so much more delicious than mine! I can’t wait to try the granola after reading how much you rave about it. It looks yummy!
Two mugs of iced coffee + berries = that sounds about perfect to me!
Glad to hear you’ve got a winner on your hands with the OpenSky granola and being sold out nearly. That’s great$$ for you guys
Have a super day today, Kath…it’s moving into our new place day for me. Movers here in oh, about a half hour. Crazy day ahead.
Speaking of granola, do you have a favorite homemade recipe-even though you may never have to make it at home again? I had a great one but I am now off dairy and it had powdered milk in it. I’d love to make someone’s tried and true favorite before I go searching on my own.
Have a great day!
I have a few on my recipage. I really like the maple one!
Thank you kindly!
So exciting that you guys are online! I also had a hot early run, followed by a breakfast with berries and iced coffee…great minds think alike!
That’s super exciting!! Congrats!! The layers of the overnight oats are awesome. The berries are gorgeous!
YAH! I’ve been dying to taste that granola! I can’t seem to find it on OpenSky… is it sold out?
It should be right here: https://opensky.com/katheats/offer/great-harvest-cville-bundle
300 bags! Holy moly! That is some serious granola making you guys have going on there. Exciting news!
Probably shouldn’t be looking at this when I’m hungry! haha. Looks delish. And I love Matt’s plaid hat!
It’s so amazing that you guys are doing all of this, all by yourselves. A true labor of love!
I can’t WAIT to get mine!!
Pretty breakfast pictures!
oh your b-fast looks fun AND yummy! Congrats on getting opensky to sell your stuff!! woot.
Looks gorgeous, you’ve got me absolutely hooked on oatmeal! Would order this in a heartbeat but unfortunately I live in Glasgow, Scotland so it’s not gonna happen!
Love the video
And too bad I don’t live in the US, would love to try that granola. I imagine it’s perfect for summer breakfast…
Super Baker Indeed!
Ordered mine this morning, I was beyond excited. Great start to the day!! Looking forward to trying what we read about so much on your blog. Congratulations on all of your success
Those oats look delicious! So exciting that you are selling your products on Open Sky! Matt sure did a lot of work today!
After a little snafu with OpenSky, I ordered mind. I am so excited to get this offer.
Thanks for making it available. Can’t wait to get it.
Good for you guys! And even better that someone else takes care of the nitty gritty. Let us know how sales go and feedback!
I’m newer to running, but WHEN does the point come where four miles seems easy? I pat myself on the back for two miles (and then try to keep my lungs from bursting and my spleen from exploding because MAN does it feel bad).
Well it’s NEVER easy – I should have phrased it differently! Easier than other runs relatively
If only u delivered to London
I ordered my GH C’ville deal this morning, first thing! I make my own granola… but I HAD to try yours.
~
Very exciting about the OpenSky deal, thanks!
Thanks Kath!!
i ordered and am sooooo excited to get it!!!!
Matt is so cute – you are a lucky gal! Can’t WAIT to try the famous granola
That’s a lot of bags… And that’s AWESOME that y’all are online now!
Awwwww I wish I had a Great Harvest nearby! I’m just about as far away as you can get but I wish I could visit SO bad. I read Allie’s blog too and i want nothing more than do eat all of the bakery sweets and breads!
Your husband is adorable! Wow. Glad business is going well for you guys!
MMmmmm I’m going to definitely start smearing my almond butter on the sides of my jars before I make OIAJ
That’s amazing! Please do let us know if/when opensky decides to do international shpping. After all, iHerb does…
What are chia seeds and why do you eat them? Is it taste or for health benefits
They are the seeds of the chia pet. They have nutritional benefits like flax. We eat them for the amazing fluffy texture they give to food!
That’s awesome that you’re selling your mixes online! I’m sure you’re going to sell out so fast, if you haven’t already.
I’m so glad I got an order in! My eyes literally widened with glee when I saw the email from Opensky this morning!
one order coming up!! cant wait to receive my 3 bags.
Ooohhh got to get me some clusters!
Cute video
The bakery looks great!!!
I’ve tried to join Opensky numerous times and every time, I get the same error message….
“Sorry, we have a problem here

I’d love to join…can you help???
That’s very strange. Have you tried a different browser?
