The Summit is underway!

I’ve been up since dawn tying up loose ends for the event and started my day with half a Glo Bar since I knew breakfast was a long ways away

Three cheers for Thomas, Quaker and Stonyfield for sponsoring such a delicious breakfast!

I waited a while to eat to let others go first and by the time I got up there most of the almond butter was gone = opportunity!!!

OIAJ! How appropriate :)

I filled the near-empty jar with about a cup of oats, granola and a ton of berries.

Also nibbled on more fruit and had some coffee!

Just went to a great talk on sports nutrition by these two (fellow!) RDs, Heather and Rebecca

Peace.

Holy cow, I think all the best food brands must love this conference because they must seriously get a lot of sales! That’s TONS of food!

I wish I could be there. Maybe next year when I’m not so close to having a baby:) haha

Those sponsors certainly knew their demographic. Oatmeal, nut butters, fresh fruit. It looks like a healthy food bloggers oasis over there!

I love how the jar’s just overflowing with fruit. Is the conference site using real utensils and dishes (vs. disposable)? I think I see real bowls in one of the oatmeal pictures, but I can’t tell for sure — hope they are :)

Looks like the conference is going great so far, well done! Just wondering…where’s Jenna of ELR? Wasn’t she part of the planning committee last year?

Isn’t it fun to say that you’re an RD?! I love it and still can’t believe I can finally use the credential.
