Hi guys!
Shortly after I finished blogging, we went down for a family chili lunch.
My mom made the chili in her crockpot with beef and a bunch of beans. I topped mine with some shredded cheddar + light sour cream
And we had some Great Harvest Jalapeno Cheddar bread on the side
I had a Diet Ginger Ale for a beverage
I had an apple after lunch to round out my food groups (and fill the space still open in my stomach.) It was a really great crunchy apple!
After lunch the youngins set out on an adventure to Chapel Hill to get Matt A. a new cell phone charger since he forgot his in Boston and visit blog reader Bethany at Caribou!
Larbs got a Chai Latte and we all had sips -
I’ll leave you with a snapshot of my childhood bedroom
(Behind me is a fireplace and built-ins). I was obsessed with my room when I was little and used to rearrange the furniture once a week. I had a thing with new furniture layouts. It’s amazing I didn’t grow up to be an interior decorator!
We’re all pooped and are going to take naps + read this afternoon.
See you all this EVEning!

Merry Christmas Kath! I was trying to decide who to order some nut butters from. After trying both Naturally Nutty and Barney Butter, which would you recommend?? I know NN has more flavor varieties than just almond butter. Thanks!

I am sooo trying to figure out how to eat normal meals like you do. You make it look so lovely and effortless and sensible… I really hope I can get my brain around it someday. You probably have no idea what I am rambling about. But it’s just that old habits are hard to break. I’ll keep trying.
that is such a gorgeous room…a girl’s dream!
Um, again, you and my daughter were separated at birth! But I think she has you beat – she vacuums her room every day and rearranges her room maybe twice a week?
And has 14 days of outfits laid out for school!
I am just catching up on my blog reading – its been a crazy week in my family!
Merry Christmas!
JW ,
Oooo tough decision!! I’d go with Barney Butter because it’s more unique, but def. try both in time!
sarah ,
I totally wish we could run together, but we’re headed out on Friday first thing and I won’t be coming back for more than a 30 minute stop. Next time!! I’d love to do some of the Durham trails.
faith ,
Thanks again for the Reindeer mix!! It was a pleasure to meet you.
Lyn ,
Trust me, I know exactly what you’re rambling about. My habits have taken 3 years of hard work to break, and I am most definitely not perfect. Keep working at it – and make good decisions.
