*Yawn*

this !
Mornin’

I think having a full cup of 100% caf coffee yesterday AM had me wired through the night. Both Matt and I had trouble falling asleep, and I’ve noticed this has happened before related to caffeine. Geez, my body is just super sensitive to all kinds of beverages! So I’m walking around with droopy eyelids today 🙁

Today’s bowl of oatmeal was made courtesy of Matt while I showered. As a result, I’m ready super early this morning!

IMG_1347 (640x427)

The Mix

  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 banana
  • Pinch salt
  • Handful wheatberries
  • Leftover Carrot Raisin Walnut Muffin
  • Crofter’s
  • Nuttzo PF

IMG_1341 (640x427)

Nuttzo!

Here’s your discount:

Nuttzo PF is 10% off today! I am proclaiming a new name for this jar: Nuttzo Chia Fluff – because the chia seeds make this nut butter almost soft. My favorite part is also the hazelnut flavors that burst through the other ingredients (cashews, almonds, brazil nuts, flax, pumpkin seeds, sea salt).

To get the discount, we did have to bundle two jars at once. This guy is awfully pricey, but I promise you’ll be licking the bottom before you know it 😉 Price: $31. Coupon Code: GoNuttzo. Available in the KERF Shop here.

Nuttzo PB (5)

I also sampled some more Golden Moon tea at b-fast. Sugar Caramel Oolong.

Sadly, even with TWO packets, I still found it to be weak 🙁

Chicken Soup for the Soul:

HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY CAITLIN!!!

Peace

Wow, coffee in the morning keeps you awake at night? You must be supersensitve! My stepdad has a coffee at 10pm every night, and always sleeps fine…individual differences!
    Have a good day 🙂

    Muffin oats are looking goooooooooood!

Some people are really caffeine-sensitive, others can down a can of Coke and climb straight into bed. Caffeinated tea at night really affects me but as long as it’s more than 2 hours before bedtime, I’m fine.

I was hoping the discount on the Nutzo would make it affordable enough for me to rationalize buying some… but it didn’t. Btw, your store says it’s $35, not $31 🙁
Too steep for this student! I’ll keep looking forward to trying Nutzo.

Apparently getting an “instant” energy boost from caffeine is just a psychological effect – it takes about 5 to 6 hours for it to have any stimulant properties! I’m not sure I believe it though… I wouldn’t know, caffeine has almost no effect on me 😛

$31?!?!??!?!?!? That… wow. Okay. It must be extremely beyond delicious… o.O

    Have a great Monday! 😀

How can anyone afford that price? Yowsa that is sooooo much moola!I buy my organic nut butter for a very low price locally and love it.

Teawise Kath I think the flavored teas just can’t compare to a really tasty strong black tea(looseleaf preferably).Do you find the flavored teas weaker as I do?I can’t stomach those for breaky myself.
Are all your teas gone from Africa trip?Hmmm maybe GlidingCalm will send you some tea samples from her tea adventures in India recently 😉 (fun when blogs collide!)

I hear you on the caffeine. I gave up coffee, tea and chocolate for the longest time and recently got re-hooked on tea and chocolate and it had me wired. I can’t even have a cup of green tea anymore after 11am or I can’t sleep. Bah.
