WHEW.

*INSERT HUGE SIGH OF RELIEF*

Presentation is over! It went pretty well too ๐Ÿ™‚

And we have a house showing! And the house is not spotless because I slacked off! Matt’s suitcase is in the bedroom. He hardly had time to sleep, much less unpack. Ahh.

I’m so full of adrenaline today.

[Did anyone have trouble with the order of my posts this morning?? Somethings is funky with the timing of drafts…]

Packed a delicious and filling lunch today! Eating quickly before I head to a lunch + learn.

Tempeh and Crofter’s on Dakota ๐Ÿ™‚

Curry Honey Hummus + Carrots

IMG_7211 (640x427)

A NEW flavor of Chobani that Emily gave me!!!!!! Plus hemp plus!

IMG_7206 (640x427)

And a cutie

IMG_7207 (640x427)

I packed a little more today knowing I’d be running a lot this morning.

I didn’t see your morning post in my Google Reader at all ๐Ÿ™ Your lunch looks yummy! I always end up packing more than I know I’ll eat during the day – because I never know what snacks I’ll want. I am working on no longer doing this, though, and just packing what will fuel me and keep me satisfied until dinner time ๐Ÿ™‚

P.S. This is slightly random but I’m coming up to Charlotte next week (to go to TJ’s… yes I will drive an hour and a half once or twice a year SIMPLY to go there) and I was wondering if you could recommend any good fro-yo places? Or favorite restaurants that aren’t too expensive? I used to go up to Charlotte a lot but I haven’ t been in a while. thanks!!

    hi kath-
i’m wondering how much you (estimate) you have increased your caloric intake now that youre logging a lot more mileage with your training, and if you have lost weight or maintained as a result. i know you follow intuitive eating and therefore probably just assume the extra mileage would rev your hunger and make you eat more naturally, but i’m just curious. thanks!

Well you’re right that I believe in intuitive eating. Also the Squiggly Line Effect. I’m focusing more on eating to fuel each individual workout and eating a recovery meal that provides balance rather than worrying about how many calories I’m taking in. I do think I have a delayed response – 2-3 days later I’m hungrier, so I’m eating than rather than eating ice cream on my long run days because I “can”

I see you eat tempeh sandwiches with jam a lot. For some reason tempeh scares me. I made it once in enchiladas and it was tasty. I also had it once at Moosewood and that was delicious! But for some reason raw tempeh scares me! Is this an irrational fear?
