IMG_9363Blog

That’s midnight dedication for you. It’s always worth it to me to stay up late and clean so I can sleep in and wake up to a sparkling kitchen.

Faith’s beautiful flowers!

IMG_9361Blog

Staying up till midnight meant waking up to a 9 on the clock!

Oatmeal for all

Great Harvest Cinnamon Raisin oatmeal mix plus Scottish oats, banana, chia seeds, milk/water, crumbled Hungry Bar, butterscotch and sunflower butter

My tea foam did not stay today!! I could hear it snap, crackle, popping away 🙁 No idea why! Maybe the milk is getting old?

Or it was a hangover that made you froth too close to the surface that ur foam did not hold? ????

I did it to a lady one time when i worked in a coffee shop. She came back asking where her cap foam was. Lol. It really is nice to have a clean kitchen/house after a party. Then you can actually enjoy a quite peaceful morning.

Are you not supposed to froth the top!?

It creates more air bubbles than foam and the air bubbles are more likely to pop than normal foam would.

Ya, what Errign said. 😉 If you froth without building your foam up or froth too high at the surface, then you are liable to create more air bubbles. Thus the dissipating foam. 😀

Doesn’t soap residue also prevent foaming? I’m pretty sure it affects foam on beer, and I assume it would be the same for milk.

I prefer to do the same thing with the dishes. Dealing with it then (unless you’re about to fall down tired) is so much easier!!

I wish I had an exciting reason for staying up late. I watched terrible horror movies and passed out after 2, then woke up at 11 after the cat first woke me up at 7:45. 😛

It definitely is worth the few extra minutes to finish dishes. If I don’t, I feel like I’m already behind when I wake up.

I used to not be able to go to bed with a messy kitchen…..but then I had kids. I have much more energy in the morning so sometimes I just save it. I hate waking up to a mess, but sometimes I just want to crawl into bed.

The flowers are so beautiful! Are they dalias? I recently saw some at a local farmer’s market and declared them some of the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen. So many colors! 🙂
