Wake Up San Francisco

Someone please come wake me up!! Trying to fend off the grump today. Monday + lack of sleep + winter.

But something to be really happy about:

Overnight oats

 this !

Last night I combined the rest of a TJ’s greek container (maybe 1/3 to 1/2 a cup left total?) with:

  • 1/3 cup raw Quaker Old Fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup 1% milk
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin

IMG_5511 (427x640)

And this morning:

  • Mix My Granola
  • Crunchy, crunchy Nuttzo

IMG_5520 (427x640)

I’m a little tea cup, short and stout

IMG_5527 (640x427)

IMG_5512 (427x640)

More Tea Spot samples! I’m really enjoying the variety, and their black tea is excellent. Strong and not bitter.

I drink tea every morning…religiously. I always get it screaming hot (literally, the tea kettle screaming) then I let it steep for five min (in the meantime I am fixing breakfast) then take the tea bag out and by the time I finish eating my tea is the perfect temperature….everytime 🙂

I’m just catching up on your posts from over the weekend and saw your 1/2 Marathon training plan. I was wondering why – in all of your training runs – you are never planning on running further than 11 miles? I too am training for a 1/2 marathon and had planned to gradually up the milage of my weekly long run so that I run 13 miles at least once or twice prior to the race so that my body is used to the distance. I’m curious to hear your thoughts?

That’s just how Sarah designed my plan. I’m not sure which plan she modeled it on, but that’s how it was. I might end up doing 13 – I’m not sure!
