Updates!

First, the beer. Smells like a cinnamon witch’s brew!

Second, the garden. It grows!

Chard, snap peas, zucchini, a lone tomato and butterhead lettuce.

And lastly lunch….

Leftover curried millet, root veggies + beans, shredded chicken, and tomato over romaine. With some Great Harvest Warrenton Breakfast Blast topped with brie!

I blew off yoga today. Didn’t feel like going. Workout [or not] TBD!

Back to work!

Seriously coveting your garden. My thumb is not green and we have racoons that love hanging out under our deck, so no garden for me 😉

Awesome, awesome updates. But once you get past the wonderful young veggies, soon to be tasty beer, and fabulous lunch you notice…..

That bag on the chair next to Matt looks like some type of animal, “double take” doesn’t even begin to describe how many times I looked at it. It *is* a bag right?

Isn’t it nice how leftovers don’t really have to “go” together and are still awesome? No rules, just right! (Because Outback Steak House is always the first thing I think of when I think KERF)

There is truly nothing, and I do mean nothing, like being able to grow and eat one’s own veggies!
Priceless! I’m admitting right now though, that I’m slightly jealous that you get a longer growing season than those of us up in the northern midwest! 😉

I mostly make my own recipes, but sometimes I’ll find some clone recipes of commercial beers that I end up making… I pretty much get all my advice from thebrewingnetwork.com, plus several books I’ve read.

I LUST for knowledge when it comes to beer. And everything else for that matter.

Beautiful garden photos! I always tell myself I’ll go to yoga every day (typically after I get out of an amazing class that makes me feel awesome)…but I always find that I need at least 2 days off per week from it…otherwise I don’t enjoy or appreciate the practice and how I feel during and afterward as much:) Days off are good to recharge and have an even more amazing practice the following day!
