Tying Up Loose Ends

I’ve been on a roll this morning. One car is inspected and oil changed and the other should be done any minute. I took a bunch of nursery photos, edited them and am working on a nursery tour. Also working on fixing some blog scripts – always scary! Just finished up lunch and am jumping on a call in 15 minutes : )

Foodblog-4247

Quick n easy on a day that I didn’t feel like stopping for lunch but needed to eat! Leftover millet, tofu, okra and green beans – plus a handful of almonds for more protein and some Bone Suckin’ Sauce for flava

Foodblog-4254

Sidekick.

Foodblog-4257

Lemonade + water mixed to sip!

Foodblog-4259

Thanks to Kate + Matt for these gorgeous flowers they brought me yesterday! Hydrangeas are my fav : )

I am in love with hydrangeas – I wanted them for my wedding bouquet but they were super expensive since they weren’t in season.

I love random lunch bowls! My lunches are also so random I often wonder what people think of them when they walk in the lunch room when I am eating… 🙂

I adore hydrangeas too! One of my aunts used to have some in her garden and no word of a lie, they were as big as my head. Congrats on a super productive morning!

Good for you! I can’t remember if you’ve mentioned it before, but if you’re sending out newborn photo announcements, you should totally get started on that. Choose one you like, fill it all out (minus the actual birth date, weight, and photo), and then you’ll have less to do when you are ready to put it all together! I did that with my first, and it was SO much stressful to order and get those out. (Also, I rounded up a list of addresses so that was ready to rock too. And I knew how many to order.) Every day is a day closer!

Yup! I got admitted in late July so it’s all happened pretty fast! I have Christine Goodner for Food Science (the course) and Stephanie Nielsen for the Food Science lab then Elizabeth Weikle for Human Nutrition. I’m also taking Chem (blah!) and Accounting which I don’t think you had to take when you were there?

Oh funnnn! PLEASE tell Ms. Goodner and Nielsen that I said hello (and maybe throw in the baby news). I haven’t seen either of them since my last day of classes! Ms. Nielsen was my very first nutrition prof at Queens in 2007 – we used to have dinner in the dining hall together sometimes!

CHEM = BLAHHHH. I took Accounting at Davidson – thankfully.
