Trouble On The Bizfront

It looks like things might fall through with our bakery location again 🙁

This time for real. And we may have to start over from scratch.

We were all up late last night making phone calls and having intense discussions. Needless to say, I didn’t sleep very well.

Nothing perks you up like oatmeal and coffee:

Yesterday’s was so good I had to have it again

IMG_7907 (640x427)

  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 whole banana
  • 2 tbsp cottage cheese, stirred in at end
  • Bear Naked Cranberry Trail Mix
  • Nuttzo PF (oh how I have missed thee!!!)
  • Coconut butter crumbles

Coffee tasted better than usual today…

this !

It is so funny to look back on life and see a particular moment that was very challenging and say, “ooooh so that’s why THAT happened!” I know it will all work out -I’ll definitely keep you through my thoughts today… (and maybe take a nap for you too? haha!)

SO sorry for your troubles, Kath. I wish I could help. Just holler if you need some form of professional expertise from any of us. We are all as excited re. your bakery as are you! If this is merely a waiting game at this point, perhaps an intense yoga session will help? Hoping for the best!

I know you’ve probably kept a bunch of info off of the blog, but I just wonder how this happened? Things seemed to be going so well for you….I am sorry that you’ve encountered such a huge setback. Best of Luck.

Yeah, I probably shouldn’t disclose any details. But we’re just negotiating and hit a few dealbreakers at the last minute.

Kath, that really sucks. The good news is that you two are smart and capable and hard-working… so in 6 months you will be able to look back on this blog post from a more comfortable position, with your location solidified and plenty of tasty breads baking therein. Hugs, hang in there.

I’m sorry to hear about the bakery location – I’ve just had the same thing happen with my potential studio space.
But i’m crossing my fingers that it all works out for you 🙂 Keep your head up!
