The Porch Is Waiting

Above 80* and the sun is out – orange ya glad!?!

IMG_6492Blog

I biked to Body Pump this morning. I used to go to the 12:10pm classes, which meant I had all morning to work and lunch around 1:30. I shower after and have a few more hours of work until an early dinner. No snack necessary.

But lately I’ve been going to the 10:20am classes, which are an hour instead of the 45 minutes express class, and have me back home before noon. I eat after I shower on these days, around 1pm, and then have all afternoon to work. I usually need a snack on these days.

I’m not sure which combo I like more! I always still feel a little full going to the morning class and a little too hungry in the noon class. Work in progress.

Biking was BLISSFUL today – warm breeze in my face!!!

Lunch was our Friday night lentils reheated with some plain yogurt

IMG_6495BlogIMG_6497Blog

When I get really busy, I love to rely on chilled “salads” like this for lunches and even quick dinners.

On the side – a plate of orange

And an Philly Homegrown Biscotti – Orange Cranberry – for dessert.

I’m hoping to get my work done on the porch today! This weather is not going to last.

I am LOVING oranges lately. They’ve seriously just been the perfect, refreshing fruit – totally hit the spot 🙂

But I DO wish I had a little more of the weather you’re experiencing! It’s in the 50s and it feels warm here!

I’m kind of in the same boat — exercising in the morning vs. evening and trying to figure out when is the best time to eat, when I need a snack, etc.

You are such a good photographer — I’m sure if I took a picture of a lentil stew it would look like barf. Yours does not! 🙂

I’m looking into finally making the purchase and didn’t realize until yesterday they had a separate one and was trying to decide if it was necessary!
