The Lone Sandwich

IMG_4286 (640x427)

After a lazy morning at home we came to the bakery for lunch! Karen put mom + dad to work putting labels on bags : )

IMG_4283 (640x427)

Allie was spotted enjoying a juice in our lobby! (Before her shift started)

IMG_4281 (427x640)

I had a lone sandwich for lunch – end pieces with hummus + veg on High 5!

IMG_4284 (640x427)

I just love our hummus and soon we’ll be selling it in our drink cooler by the tub!

IMG_4285 (640x427)

Sippin’ on sparkling water. Let the afternoon begin!

Forgive me if I’m being super thick about how GH works, but when you say ‘our hummus’, is that your own recipe or one that’s provided? And d’you have to make it up yourselves like the bread? It looks really thick and yummy – hate hummus when it’s too runny!

I was wondering the same – is it GH Hummus or your own recipe? And I agree Alex – thick hummus all the way – and cream 🙂

Yep – it’s our recipe!! We invented it and I think it’s pretty good. You’re right that it’s super thick! Unfortunately I can’t share the recipe though 🙁

I think I recall you mentioning that your hummus is lemon-y. Is it? Do you use garlic in your hummus? Hope it’s not too much to ask!

We finally made the trek out to see you guys at Great Harvest today (from Richmond) and I am kicking myself for not buying more bread! We got a loaf of the Dakota (and some Naturally Nutty, of course!) and it’s so delicious! My husband wanted to know if you guys would ship to Richmond, but I told him I was pretty sure that you don’t, but that your bread freezes well (right?!) so we’d have to stock up the next time we’re there. Oh, and my 4 year old son got an apple cinnamon roll that I shared with him and it was so yummy. Keep up the fabulous baking ; )
