Love those purple letters! Reminds me that when you were little, you spent ages 3-4 basically only wanting to wear purple. Your grandma had a great time going purple shopping!

I love your backrounds for your photos.

By the way, sorry for my thoughtless question on your last post, but my mom just finished chemo, so it’s just nice to hear about some else on the “other side.” She looks beautiful.

Okay. I probably sound insane. Sorry about that.

Love the “sunflower” photo. Makes me want a bowl of oats, even though I already ate breakfast. 🙂

Totally random, but I actually have a weird phobia when it comes to butterflies (and moths!). They freak me out! I used to love them when I was little, but then I saw one up close and have been scared of them ever since. Totally irrational, I know.

Wish it were a sunny Sunday here. Love the purple and the butterflies, my 6 old daughter’s favorites, mine as well. Hope your Sunday was a fun and relaxing one. Were you reading a Nicholas Sparks book last week, is so which one? I’m almost halfway through Safe Haven and it’s a good one, I’m hoping to finish it today or tomorrow.

Didn’t finish last night, should be able to finish the last hundred pages by tonight. Safe Haven is one of those books that you want to keep reading. Sparks does such a good job of engaging readers and giving them books that are easy and enjoyable to read, yet emotional and thought provoking. I was just looking at the list of his other books and trying to remember exactly which ones I have read. The Notebook, Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, A Bend in the Road, Nights in Rodanthe, The Wedding are all ones that I remember and enjoyed. I’m still looking for a “that was one of the best books ever” to read next so I’ll move The Best of Me a little ways down the list. I have A Secret Kept and One Thousand White Women waiting and will be looking at the library tonight. Thanks for sharing your reading recommendations.

I believe I’ve read ALL of his books. The Notebook and MIAB were definitely the best. I liked another one where she was neighbors with the guy, but I can’t even remember the title! Nights in Rodanthe was also memorable.

The Last Song, The Lucky One, The Choice, Dear John, At First Sight, True Believer, Three Weeks with My Brother, The Guardian, The Resuce… I’m trying to remember which ones I have read and which ones I haven’t. My memory is failing me since I turned 35, or maybe it’s the two kids! I’m adding the task of figuring out which ones I have and haven’t read to my to do list for the day.

Finished Safe Haven yesterday on the elliptical, what a surprise at the end! Started Dear John late last night, didn’t make it very far. Is the neighbor one The Choice, I don’t think I’ve read that one yet. Do you ever read anything by Anita Shreve? I grabbed a few of her books as well. I spent most of my time helping my daughter find her books before the library closed. She is in love with the Shel Silverstein and Jack Prelutsky poem books!
