The End Of The Beginning

Start To Finish, this lunch box is a winner.

IMG_3388 (640x427)

Starting with this guy..

Cheese + Jam on Dakota! Organic Valley White Cheddar and Italian plum jam (a homemade gift)

IMG_3386 (640x427)

Produce. Lots of it. All sweet and delicious, filling up my middle.

IMG_3384 (640x427)

Ending sweetly on some Organic Valley Cottage Cheese (4% baby!) with cacao nibs and coconut 😉

IMG_3383 (640x427)

IMG_3382 (640x427)

And ending with the beginning…a photo of me, mom and my grandmother from the 80s. I actually wasn’t sure if this was me or Larbs so I emailed my mom, who replied with: "We’re 90% sure it’s you."

 this !

That’s funny . . . I have three daughters between the ages of 3 and 11 and while they all look very different now, as babies they looked very similar. I always get confused looking at baby pictures trying to figure out who’s who and it wasn’t even that long ago! Thank goodness most of them have dates on them.

    Hi Kath,
I have a quick question. For your cottage cheese, do you choose the salted or the unsalted kind? I’ve found that most brands of cottage cheese are very salty. Yet at the same time, the unsalted kinds generally taste terrible. Is the salty cottage cheese a healthy choice or would the unsalted be a better option?

I love Organic Valley’s but it does have about 20% DV for sodium:
      http://www.organicvalley.coop/products/cottage-cheese/

But since I don’t have to watch sodium for health reasons, a little here and there in high concentrations isnt going to hurt.
