Stuffed.

Holy swag!!

IMG_9966 (640x427)

225 bags stuffed with some AMAZING products in just one long morning. Can’t believe we did it so fast! Couldn’t have without a few extra helping hands 🙂 You’ll find out what’s in them soon enough!

We broke for a LATE lunch – I almost ate my fingers!

A short walk down Michigan Ave had us at this great casual Italian restaurant. Can’t turn away from pizza!

IMG_9970 (640x427)

I got a build-your-own salad with lettuce, roasted veggies, olives, tomato/basil/moz and fruit.

IMG_9973 (640x427)

And split one of the best pizzas of my life with Meghann – Eggplant with Provolone (the cheese made it!) and lemon olive oil

IMG_9978 (640x427)

Eggplant is just SO GOOD on pizza!

IMG_9981 (640x427)

I traded a slice with Sabrina and Tina‘s pizza

IMG_9979 (640x427)

My "plate"

IMG_9983 (640x427)

H2O

IMG_9977 (640x427)

I didn’t finish my lunch – it was way too much food! Pizza excites me, but it’s very filling. Ate all of my eggplant slice, some tomato slice, and most of my roasted veggies. Couldn’t get to the fruit (saved it) and barely touched the tomato – but did have some delicious basil!

I turned down a walk this afternoon in exchange for a little R&R. So glad. I need to recharge regularly and often overbook myself.

And my rest is almost up even though it just began – I have a date to eat at a RAW restaurant with a handful of others in just a bit and need to glam.

Tonight will hopefully be out of this Universe Yum!

The pizza looks delicious but quite small for a pizza in Chicago 🙂 I’m used to seeing deep dish pizzas in Chi-town.

Looks like some killer-good pizza. If you get a chance, a good place to dine at is Seasons-52, they use seasonal (and I think local) produce and their menu has a section that changes every week. The food is outstanding and the little desserts they serve are very delicious. 🙂
