“I woke up. Sleep was restful πŸ˜€ Had a banana before leaving. The hotel room is so cute! Ran for 4.5 miles. Lakefront is so beautiful. And I saw MarathonVal! It was incredibly hot. And bright. And sweaty πŸ˜‰ Walked to Jamba juice afterwards. (Clearly obsessed!) I got a SIAC (Smoothie in a Cup!) The granola was crunchy. Nom nom nom. Of course I had a iced coffee to go with. Went back to the hotel, showered, and now I’m blogging. Off to sort out swag with the girls!”

I’m not skilled in Kath-speak. At all. I need to read more of your blog honey πŸ˜‰

It is so cool to see you in my city! I love seeing familiar pics on your blog. Isn’t Chicago just gorgeous?! I opted not to attend HLS as I am pregnant and knew I wouldn’t be able to tolerate the heat and sitting for long periods. I am totally bummed as you, Caitlin, Gina & Tina are like celebrities to me and I would have been totally star-struck. Have an amazing conference! Can’t wait to see pics!

Kath! Quick question. I’m about to enter my first year of college (exciting, i know =P) anddd apparently there aren’t any stovetops in my dorm hall! I’m OBSESSED with oatmeal (I became addicted after reading your blog) and so I was wondering if you had any other methods of preparing it? Whenever I try microwaving it, it overflows EVERYWHERE πŸ™ . And to be honest I’m not even sure if we’ll even have a microwave! :/ worries worries. got any tips (being the oatmeal QUEEN that you are)?? hahah. thanks!
