Stop And Smell The Smoothie

IMG_4174-2Blog

Today my goal is to move in slow motion. Yesterday was such a whirlwind I was all hot and bothered all day!

IMG_4191-2Blog

Here’s me cooling off with a smoothie to start!

A Raspberry Blackberry Purple Bomb with Rise + Roll bakery’s Maple Granola and a blob of the world’s finest nut butter

Simma Down Smoothie

  • 1 cup frozen black + rasp
  • 1 small super ripe banana (I’ve been eating black ones all week!)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 big spoonfuls raw rolled oats

–> Granola

–> Sunflower butter

I’m taking today off of formal exercise other than my 40 minutes of biker commuting. In this heat, I’d say that counts as one sweaty workout!

My favorite is 1%. I like a little fat in there for satiety and nutrition. I occasionally get 2% because I like it. But I hate skim! I think whole milk is a bit too much fat

That’s funny that you like the bananas black. I know a few people who purposely let them get that way before they eat them. I’m picky, though. The minute I see one spot, I can’t eat it. (haha) They have to be completely yellow. 🙂
