Spring Is Just Around The Corner

IMG_6808Blog

Someone is hopeful…

Frog & Toad: The Corner

"I went back home. When I got there," said Frog, "I found another corner. It was the corner of my house."

"Did you go around it?" asked Toad.

"I went around that corner, too," said Frog.

"What did you see?" asked Toad.

"I saw the sun coming out," said Frog. "I saw birds sitting and singing in a tree. I saw my mother and father working in their garden. I saw flowers in the garden."

"You found it!" cried Toad.

"Yes," said Frog. "I was very happy. I had found the corner that Spring was just around."

My dad used to read me Frog & Toad

this !
books when I was little. I even have a cassette tape of me reading them out loud! I will have to try to find that and upload it…somehow!

It may be 34* outside, but the high today is 54* and it feels like spring out there! MAN do I miss warm weather simply for the outdoor photography!!

The Mix

  • 1/4 cup oat bran
  • 1/4 cup oats
  • Milk, water, half banana, pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp ground flax
  • Coconut
  • Salty peanuts
  • Nutty’s Butterscotch
  • Butterscotch chips

KERF UPLOAD33Blog

Not sure what the day will bring. Likely a visit to the hospital, a run, soup for dinner.

IMG_6803Blog

And the enjoyment of this glimpse of spring before winter comes rolling back.

LOL — I’ve been saying spring is just around the corner for three weeks. It’s going to be 76 degrees in Little Rock today, but it will be back to normal in the forties soon.

    Happy New Year!
