Speed Clean

I had a really good title for this post – but I forgot it!!

I’m making great progress on the house – dusted while I talked to my grandmother, vacuumed ALL of the floors and corners, and got a bunch of stuff complete on the computadora. Also went to Body Pump.

I have now, however, showered.

I’m headed the bakery as soon as I do!

Lunch revolved around this happy little egg

IMG_6086-2Blog

Plus a mix of veggies, coconut oil, and goat feta

IMG_6091-2Blog

On the side I savored some Cville Crunch bread from Great Harvest topped with my coconut black bean dip from yesteryear. SO good. Absolutely will be making this recipe again!!

<3 sparkling water. This was the orangey flavor from Harris Teeter that Karen left in our fridge. Just like a cream soda!

So jealous!! I’ve wanted chickens for sooo long… But we have a smallish city lot… and a dog who I fear would think of the chickens as “friends” and stress them too much for them to lay!!

With everything I’ve been hearing about Great Harvest lately, I decided I needed to try it for myself today. I looked up the nearest location to my work, and I couldn’t find it! Ughh I was so bummed. I’ll try again another day!

I *want* to eggs with salad, but something about the textures together freak me out together and the greens make me gag (maybe kinda like how you feel about veggies in the morning?!) I always have to eat eggs with cooked greens or vegetables, unless they are hardboiled.

What a productive day! I’m super jealous 🙂 haha A lot of times while I’m at work and have zilch to do I think about alll the things I could be accomplishing at home and the errands I could be doing! And then I start to make lists… and they end up getting much longer than my original intention… and then I start to get overwhelmed with all the things I need and want to do but cannot because I am stuck at work ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! I totally do it to myself 😀

That egg looks perf! What’s the trick?

    Happy Monday!

I used to love that HT orange seltzer! I have a SodaStream now, which I love, but sometimes I miss the flavors I used to buy. (I don’t care for the SodaStream bottled additive flavors).

i went for a bunch of romaine lettuce today with a spicy chick’n patty and sharp cheddar cheese. so good! i decided to go simple on vacation, and only picked up a ton of romaine hearts for lunchtime salads. they’ve been perfect in the middle of days on the beach.

The bread looks gorgeously dense and nutritious. And the spread is appetizing. I’ll probably go for tahini or buffalo milk yogurt instead of cream cheese — have lost my faith in contemporary cream cheeses and wouldn’t be able to find a decent manufacturer.
