Good afternoon! But flashback to the morning up there ^^ where I had eggs, plum slices and a roll with butter and strawberry-apricot jam for breakfast. Meal with a view!
I’ve gotten a bunch of great workouts in this week, and took a complete rest day on Tuesday because I was SO sore from Monday’s strength class! We did a super set of legs, and I used the 35 pound kettlebell for the first time. Definitely needed a rest after that one. Wednesday I was back to the 30, but I hope to jump up again next Monday and see how it goes!
Lunch was leftover chili plus cantaloupe slices and half of one of Matt’s homemade biscuits.
Remember this post I did about Eden Juice, which makes fresh, cold-pressed juices from imperfectly shaped fruits and vegetables? Eden is now Muse Juice, and they sent me a variety pack of their best juices to share the news. My favorite is the Chia, which is a blend of red apple, orange, pineapple, strawberry, coconut water, lime and chia seeds. The seeds float around in the juice and are fun to drink!
We had a fun ice cream social at our preschool this week, and we enjoyed picnics under the trees before dipping into the ice cream.
Our family packed sandwiches with pimento cheese and tuna salad plus a green salad made with avocado dressing and mozzarella.
And we all loved the sprinkles for dessert!
I mean loved!
Did you watch Survivor!?!?!?!? The season 31 premiere was Wednesday night, so it’s not too late to catch up on DVR! This season is Second Chances – all returning players that America voted back onto the show. The first episode was wonderful, and I can’t WAIT to see how the season unfolds! Hillary and Ellen surprised me with my very own official Survivor buff. It’s the season 26 Bikal tribe one from Caramoan. My favorite season!
We love Survivor! Did you watch!?
