Sleeping ELF

IMG_2966Blog

It felt a little like Christmas morning today. In addition to our tree and the everlasting Pandora Christmas stations floating through our house, I now have presents under the tree, the movie ELF halfway watched on my DVR (LOVE that movie! Has me laughing out loud more than any other comedy, ever.) and Matt home to sleep in!

The plan last night was for him to make his famous pancakes for breakfast, but when he was still asleep at 8am I decided to let him continue to rest and made him oatmeal in bed instead. Pancakes tomorrow!

IMG_2956Blog

His favorite: creamy whipped banana with cottage cheese. With currants mixed in! They are like tiny raisins : )

IMG_2955Blog

Topped with coconut and a big spoonful of crunchy sunbutter

IMG_2961Blog

Hazelnut tea

IMG_2962Blog

Should have had Chestnut to make it really Christmas!

IMG_2963Blog

Whether you’re shopping, working or relaxing today, have a cheerful day!

Hazelnut is Christmas-y too! I wish a bowl of oats would magically appear in front of me right now.

Love that bowl! I often pick up a handmade ceramic bowl every time I visit an arts and craft show. I love having a bunch of different varieties of ceramic bowls. Breakfast looks great, as usual.

This morning I had Coach’s Oats topped w/ brown sugar, craisins, chopped almonds, and milk. With a cup of SBUX Christmas blend coffee.
