….to a busy day.
I stayed up until midnight – gasp – reading blogs. I barely made a dent in my reader! One day….
I woke up naturally 8 hours later and decided it had been WAY too long since I did any yoga. Everyone has 20 minutes! So I did 20 minutes of Power Yoga #2. I used a fist for my hurt thumb and that helped a ton. My hand is a lot, lot better since last week, but I still want to take it easy with yoga.
I decided last night I wanted to have a double batch of grains with just nut butter on top a la Polly + Heather. They make oats look so simple but sooo good.
This bowl contained:
- 1/3 cup oats
- 1/4 cup 9 grain cereal
- 1/2 banana
- Pinch salt
- Splash vanilla
- 1 tbsp Amazon Bliss (<— see site for ingredients and nutritionals)
- Tsp Maranatha AB
The Amazon Bliss was good, but I wish it had melted in like the Cacao Bliss does.
With Chai tea that Mara sent me!
Boy was this bowl filling!! My stomach was almost having pains as I ate (probably should have eaten a little slower). I liked the volume of the bigger serving (obviously) but I missed the crunch of my usual toppings and would rather have a little less in my stomach at the moment!
