Senioritis

I feel like a senior walking around this campus!! A year ago I felt more like a freshman despite being 25 🙂

I made some great progress on my Real Food Consultations this morning. I am really enjoying the work!!! I love reading 3-day food diaries and giving feedback and suggestions. If any more of you are interested, bring ’em on!

I scurried to Winthrop in time for lunch with my Metabolism buddies

IMG_1407 (640x480)

And had the usual huge salad with highlights of salmon, grapeleaves, chicken, grilled eggplant, wheatberry salad, and more.

IMG_1405 (480x640)

IMG_1404 (480x640)

A cookie sample for dessert!!

IMG_1403 (640x480)

Brought my own cheap water

IMG_1402 (640x480)

Gotta run to Metabolism!! Full speed ahead!

mmm wheatberries. i had to explain to someone at the store a few weeks ago what wheatberries were-they were very confused at a salad “well, it says wheatberry, but i don’t see any berries!”
i’d learned what they were from KERF a long time ago 🙂 made me feel smart

I’m in school too and I’m 27, but I totally feel like an old lady because all the “kids” in my classes are like 18 and 19. it’s weird sometimes 😉

Hi Kath! Love the salad – looks delicious – salmon is definitely a favorite salad topper!

I always look to your blog for advice and tips, and I was wondering if you could help me out here –

I’ve recently moved from running/walking on the treadmill and elliptical in the gym to runningoutdoors, and I’ve got the WORST shin splints I’ve had since I ran track in highschool. Is there any way to prevent this or make them feel better quickly?! I figure you might know a thing or two since you bike/run outdoors multiple times a week. Thanks so much!
