Rover

Foodblog-3924

Just call me Rover because I rolled over all night long!

Over and over and over. Couldn’t get comfy! I spent a few minutes foam rolling my sides this morning – ouch! How many more weeks until I can sleep on my stomach again!?

Foodblog-3919

Big bowl of yogurt + CVILLE CLUSTERS for breakfast!!! Matt made another batch yesterday to re-stock our store and brought home all the crumbs for me – plus a single cluster! Can you spot it? Also in the bowl: 1 cup greek yogurt, half a banana, a nectarine (from the market yesterday!) and almond butter.

Leftover coffee with milk

On the granola front, here is a message from the boss : )

We have another shipment of 25 boxes of Cville Cluster ready to go, and I’ve figured out the logistics for shipping with USPS Priority Mail.  We did a few test shipments (thanks volunteers Ellen, Alyssa, and Nancy!) and we’re seeing a difference of 25-50% below the cost of shipping with UPS. Plus Priority Mail means you’ll get it in 2-3 days instead of the longer time period that UPS Ground takes. Score!

Please continue to give us feedback – it’s actually difficult for us to test our systems without actually processing an order. I’ve also been surprised that Google checkout’s shipping estimator is not 100% accurate, although it’s pretty close (in your favor). Those of you who ordered from the first round – we’ll be contacting you with a discount to put toward a future order since the shipping cost was much higher. Thanks for being our first online customers!

Once we feel confident in our shipping, we’ll begin to diversify our products. Soon to come: Pancake Mix, Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix, Cranberry Almond Oatmeal, Nine Grain Hot Cereal, and more!

If you’d like to order, here’s the link!

Have a great one!

Man I’m such a weirdo. When you said to call you Rover I laughed and then thought if I told the Mr to call me Rover he’d try to scratch my hip and see if my leg would thump like our dog did. (Obviously I haven’t had my morning fuel yet, I’m still loopy!)

I’m clickin’ that link right now baby!

That is something I definitely remember from my pregnancy….the constant rolling over and not being able to get quite comfortable at night. Your breakfast looks delicious as usual. Have a great one!

I hate it when I roll all night. Granted I don’t have a baby inside of me, but it still doesn’t make for a good night’s sleep. I hope you have a great day.

Stomach sleeping is not in the near future. Once your milk comes in, you won’t be able to lay on your stomach for a while. You probably can at the hospital before your milk comes in. No matter what position you are in, postpartum sleep is worlds better than pregnant sleep!

I was just thinking this morning how I’m almost out of the Cville Cluster granola I ordered from Opensky. Now I don’t have to worry about how I will get more! Thanks so much for offering online ordering!

I am new to your blog and I LOVE it. We have four children…three I had in my mid to late twenties and then, at forty, at our fourth. After #4 I have felt like I just can’t get ‘it’ back together. I am a runner, love to exercise, but my eating habits have become shanty. Thanks for all of the great recipes and inspiration. I am soooo excited to get back on track!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you’re breastfeeding, it’s pretty unlikely you’ll be sleeping on your stomach. I used to be a total stomach sleeper before kids but between being pregnant and nursing for almost 8 1/2 years (3 kids), I now am purely a side/back sleeper. Now when I try to sleep on my stomach it kills my lower back 🙁

Just a warning that even after the baby comes sleeping on your tummy will not be super comfy. Breastfeeding boobs are sensitive and at least for me, it hurts to sleep with them mashed down in the bed. 🙂 Hope it is different for you though.
