Simple lunch today – a mish of this, a mosh of that.

IMG_4899Blog IMG_4900Blog

Leftover ravioli over baby spinach and a honeycrisp apple

IMG_4898Blog

Carrots dipped in a “sauce” made from a tbsp of Chia Charger mixed with 1 tbsp of milk – to thin it out and make it easy for dipping!

IMG_4902Blog

A bowl of yogurt with strawberry jam

IMG_4901BlogIMG_4897Blog

Served with the new HGTV magazine!

IMG_4907Blog

I’m such a sucker – I saw a commercial for this on HGTV and subscribed immediately. So glad because it’s an AWESOME magazine! They have everything from décor to DIY to house maintenance and features on beautiful houses. House magazines are my favorite, so this is great to add to the mix!

When we first moved (and in the months leading up to it..) I was obsessed with ALL things HGTV. It has since died down, but I wish I had known about that magazine! Woulda been all over it!

That chia charger sauce is a good idea and wow, it looks so thick. Thick enough to hold up carrot sticks even after thinning it out…for baking, this could be a very interesting find. I need to check this out I’m thinking.

I cannot even turn on HGTV unless I want to completely waste the next several hours of my life. IT IS SO ADDICTING!! I had no idea they had a publication! Have I been living under a rock or is it a new platform!?

Holy crap! How have I not heard about this magazine before! I am completely obsessed with the HGTV channel (especially House Hunters and Property Brothers) so this sounds like it could be my new addiction. How much is it for a subscription? If it’s KERF-approved, I’m sure it’s awesome!

I don’t see honeycrisps at my local Meijer or stores like that outside of apple season, but I usually never have a problem finding them all the time at my local Whole Foods. Though the past couple of times they have seemed a little more… watery? Still, glad I can get them this time of year. 🙂
