Puffins ‘n Pizza

I wasn’t sure how my hunger levels would be during dinnertime yoga, so I stocked up on PUFFINS! Larbs recently reintroduced me to them at Bald Head and I picked up a box at Whole Foods.

Topped with strawberries and mixed with milk. They sure were good! I had 1.5 mugs to use up all of the milk ; )

IMG_7747Blog

Yoga was fantastic! My favorite part was going around the room to introduce ourselves and our pregnancy weeks. There were 3 other ladies at 16 weeks like me and lots a few weeks from delivery! [My friend Lynsie was there – still contracting!] The yoga part was great as well – lots of goddess moves and pelvic moves. Excited to add this class to my weekly exercise schedule.

I asked Matt how he would feel about making pizza every Tuesday night – he was thrilled!

IMG_7752Blog

I came home to a beautiful homemade pie full of peppers and smoked gouda cheese!

IMG_7749Blog

Delicious. [Sorry you missed it Faith 🙁 ]

IMG_7754Blog

I debated adding a salad, but I wasn’t terribly hungry so I just went naked plate and pizza.

IMG_7751Blog

We ate on the porch again – lovely in the evenings! After we’re finished eating, we retire to our rocking chairs and talk for a while before coming inside for evening chores [him, dishes // her, blogging] and then some after-dark LOST! Season 5 is underway!

Tomorrow we’re going on a lunch date!

That pizza looks SO GOOD! And that’s so cool there are other women at the same point in their pregnancies! It makes me think of the Sisterhood of the the Traveling Pants: the 4 girls’ moms were all in a pregnancy workout class together and due around the same time and the girls all ended up being best friends!

I loved prenatal yoga! I made some really great friends through my class and we still get together with our now almost 2 year olds!

Wednesday night is our pizza night. My hubby is the pizza king so that is his night to dominate the dough!

Is it something about Tuesdays? We have Taco Tuesdays. We sometimes make Veggie Lacos. (vegetable Tacos) Taco flavored soy crumbles, vegan cheese in that green bag, tomatoes, lettuce and soft shells. Kids actually love just as much ground beef. Wish they liked fish or shrimp tacos.

Did anyone else notice that shiny new fridge center stage? Got to get me one of those.

    What is your favorite kind???

I have a really random question, but were the barn door tracks on your porch really expensive? I REALLY want barn doors for my house, but my boyfriend (who has worked in carpentry and high end home renovations) says they’re crazy hard to find and expensive. I can’t believe that, so I’m asking you. Were they outrageously over priced?

They are just premade screen doors on sliding tracks, so I don’t think they were much more than a swinging door would be

Pregnancy, puffins, pizza, porch and everything else about your post = picture perfect! The porch will be a perfect place to rock a baby. Do you find yourself thinking that about everything you do now, like when you are rocking now do you think about how you are really already rocking with the baby and when you go to yoga he/she is kind of doing yoga along with you? We had turkey parmesan meatballs with bacon, muenster cheese, and roasted red peppers on Herbed Virginia rolls that I put in the freezer after Thanksgiving and my daughter declared them pizza burgers and proceeded to make happy noises during dinner.

Not to burst your LOST bubble, but I HATED season 5 of LOST with a passion. My husband and I had watched the past 4 seasons over the last year on Netflix, too, and loved it. We found season five hard to follow and my husband actually dropped out of watching it. I’m now at the end of season five and I like it much better.

I am taking over some late afternoon/early evening exercise classes at my gym, and on one night in particular I wouldn’t be getting home until 7 (after being gone since 630 am!). I told my husband that he will most definitely be on dinner duty those nights (which will be interesting)!
