Playing Bakery

It was an early morning..

But opening is always fun because you get to set up shop! Let the creativity flow.

IMG_9064 (600x450)

Taking muffins from the oven and arranging them on shiny platters

IMG_9067 (450x600)

IMG_9075 (450x600)

Arranging bars + scuffins on platters

IMG_9076 (450x600)

IMG_9077 (600x450)

Sipping coffee..

Sample displays…

IMG_9084 (600x450)

I had half an apple, the top of a broken Apple Streusel Muffin, 2 mugs of coffee (one decaf) and just now – a hot slice of Cinnamon Raisin Walnut straight from the oven!

IMG_9074 (450x600)

For the past 3 hours (WOW IT’S BEEN 3 HOURS!?) I’ve been working on our front counter displays, sweet arrangements, and more – getting ready for the day

IMG_9081 (600x450)

IMG_9082 (600x450)

IMG_9083 (450x600)

IMG_9088 (600x450)

The under-counters have never been so organized!

Time to go make a ton of cookie 6-packs!

Man your GH is MUCH more appealing than the one we have close to us. Yours looks like a chic bakery, ours is messy and they’ve sold our cinnamon swirl bread out from under us. Boo! I wish all of them were like yours!

Ours was more toward the end of the spectrum you describe, then this fall it closed for a week or so and remodeled. Much more like Kath’s now. I just wish it was closer. I only get there once a month or so.
