Play Clothes On

2012-04-14 13.07.40 (590x443)

Hi friends!!!

Having a productive and fun Saturday here. My talk this morning at a country club here in Cville went really well. I had an enthusiastic group who asked great questions! I could talk about food and creative ways to incorporate healthy eating into life for hours. My throat hurts!

I also brought some bread samples for them to share, and I enjoyed a slice of Dakota at the end – it was already noon and I needed nourishment for my ride home.

I drove home, changed into play clothes and biked to the bakery where I am putting in some time on this busy Saturday.

Salad courtesy of Sandwich Guru Alex who is working the sandwich station today. His presentation was superb!

Plus a Siggi’s (thanks again to the company for sending us some!) topped with a mango that Sarah brought in.

2012-04-14 13.07.16 (590x443)

I try not to have a sweet after lunch every day (they add up fast!) but I don’t think I can resist a triangle of cookie today.

Have a great afternoon!

Hey Kath! I noticed my 24 Fitness has a Body Pump class. Is that the same type of thing that you’ve been doing, or does it totally vary by the gym? Thanks!

That Siggis looks so cool and creamy. And I literally laughed out loud when you said the “sandwich” guru made your “salad.” Not all that funny, but I’ve had a pretty uneventful day 😀

I need to incorporate a few more sweets into my diet, but I just do not have a sweet tooth whatsoever.

Today, I helped my mom with her yard sale, and her neighbor gave us two cinnamon rolls, and I did not even have a bite. Some sweets, especially cinnamon rolls, are not appealing to me. Can you believe that? I like salty foods more than sweets.
