A Sunny Spring Saturday!

Wish I could head to the farmer’s market this morning, but I’m giving a talk and then off to work for a little bit before I take off this afternoon for some R&R : )

IMG_9030-3Blog

Any time I know I have to get up and get going, I plan overnight oats. No dishes to do. Nothing to cook but tea water.

IMG_9031-3Blog

In the jar was my usual overnight oats base plus Uncle Sam, Grandma Candy’s Jam and some Wild Squirrel.

IMG_9034-3Blog

Tea, a drink with jam and breaaaaaaaad!

IMG_9029-3Blog

Hope you have big plans for this big day!

On this GSS (that’s a gloomey spring Saturday), I am enjoying skillet oatmeal and then off for a run and then treating myself to a large Starbucks. If it stays gloomey, my closets await. Spring cleaning, here I come!

A bright and sunny morning here! Going to enjoy my breakfast of oats and berries, a cup of green tea and the morning paper! Wish our market was open now…opens in May.

I seriously need to get some overnight oats back in my life! I make them every Monday since I don’t have time for breakfast but I should make them more often!

Can’t lie- I have so much baby on the brain that I was thinking something else when I saw SSS. I listened to the Pregtastic podcast on Elimination Communication on my run/walk last night so what I was thinking when I read sss……….. On to the topic at hand- Enjoy your Sunny Spring Saturday! 🙂

Enjoy the weather…it’s cold, rainy, windy, and miserable in “sunny” San Diego today.

    Gorgeous spoon!

Good morning!! I love my wild squirrel peanut butter/almond butter pack. I’ve pretty much just been eating them straight from the jar… LOL. The dark chocolate almond butter is definitely my fav!

Your breakfast looks delicious! I just finished making eggs and whole grain toast topped with my wild squirrel cinnamon raisin pb and a banana. Mmmm Mmmmm 🙂 Time to tackle some Saturday fun. I’ve got a half-marathon next weekend so today is my last long-ish run. Hope you have a beautiful day! 🙂

Such a pretty spoon! I’ve tried the overnight oats but really didn’t care for them at all – no idea why, I love all of the components – just not all mixed together I guess. I wish I did though because what a simple, quick meal for early mornings on the go!
