Pizza, Relived

IMG_0180Blog

Good afternoon! I am obviously forgetful today when I planned to arrive at Cycle at 9:45 and realized it started at 9:15. Oops! I missed my friends! But I ended up doing 30 minutes on the Stairmaster instead. There was a time last year when I was so anti-gym equipment because I was Pumpkin Pumping and walking and biking and running but now that the temps are cold and I live a glorious 15 minute walk to the gym that takes me through charming downtown, I’m in the mood again! Especially now that holiday magazines are coming out 🙂

Home  & showered, I heated up lunch

IMG_0188Blog

This included a fat and gooey piece of pizza – heated in the oven. Plus grapes!!

IMG_0181Blog

And for the green, a big salad with eggplant, goat feta and chickpeas! Dressed in olive oil and lavender salt. My plans were to make homemade lavender salt when I ran out, but here it is a year past my last trip to San Francisco and I’m a few days away from going out – might just have to stop by the Ferry Building and buy more! Perhaps also rosemary this time!

I love smoked maldon salt. Have you tried it? It’s so good and lightly smoky. GREAT on a salad. So unexpected!

Have you tried reheating pizza in a skillet? I read about it on a blog and its even better than in the oven (and of course better than the microwave)!

I enjoy reading your blog and enjoyed the pictures of your new screened in porch going up. I would love one at my house. A while back you posted when Matt got his new Samsung Infuse 4G phone. Sunday, Oct. 30, I launched on App for the droid that I have developed. The game is called, They Are Dead. The object of the game is to be the first to know of important, recent deaths. As soon as you discover someone notable has died, you post it on the network. The sooner you broadcast the death, the more points you receive. The game tracks your ability to be the first to know and notify the network about a recent, distinguished death. The App is $0.99. Check it out.
