Pause, BRB

Test went OK – I don’t think anyone in the class had time to finish! When diagramming out the mechanisms of all these organic reactions, we need to take our time! I was so rushed I had to leave a few incomplete 🙁  I feel a huge relief though, and the rest of the week looks pretty smooth sailing. But then I have 2 HUGE nutrition tests next week, so I can’t relax too much…

After my test I finished my Foodservice assignment using the nutrition program on the school computers and then gave myself a break to watch some HuLu.com TV. But I have so disappointed – every 30 seconds or so the video starts to skip so its unwatchable. I have to pause it, do something in another window, then go watch 30 more seconds…

BRB….

Back again. So that’s been a huge bummer. I think it must be the school’s Internet connection (which is supposed to be mega-high speed!) Although it may be HuLu’s fault because it seems to be getting better now that lunch hour is over.. Hmm. Maybe I should just wait until 1pm to eat lunch.

Speaking of lunch!

I decided to do something different and rather than make a sandwich I sliced some of our new cheese to have along with a slice of bread. Click here for the cheese info it’s fabulous: Parrano from Holland. It’s like sharp cheddar meets parmesan.

This bread is SO CRUNCHY!!! I love it.

(BRB!!)

I also had some carrots-

A little apple (love the little ones that come in bags – they are the perfect size)

And a Chobani with GoLean Crunch –

Off to try to finish this episode of House Hunters and then I’m headed to lab 👿

I hate when the internet shows do that! So annoying.

Anyway, I bet you did great on the exam! I hate lab! I hope you have a decent time.

The cheese looks delish! I have the same problem with Netflix when I watch things online there….I think it has to do with the site’s traffic.

That’s my favorite cheese! And you are exactly right, it’s like a nice cheddar meets a parm. Yum! Love it 😀 Awesome with grapes too.

That bread must be super-filling – especially with that delicious cheese!

Hulu is good, most of the time, but I agree that I’ve had problems. But yay for the test being over!

Ahhahaha! You’re so stankin adorable! This post totally cracked me up. BRB!!! BRB!!!!!!! Such dedication! =] Way to be, lil Ma.

And did you ever get a chance to check out the new TJ’s? Dying to hear how it was! Ohh and I tried my FIRST (approved) Clif Nectar bar! I totally thought the Cocoa ones were VILE and nearly cried when I tried one… MONTHS AGO (maybe even a year ago?!). I braved the fire and bought the REGULAR clif nectars (not a huge fan of chocolate) and tried the Lemon, Vanilla, Cashew one and it was SO YUM! You would totally love it. PERFECT with some greek yogurt on the side and some mint tea in between bites! Half is perfect too (to satisfy the sweet tooth) and the Nutritional States are hawt. Thought I’d share wit Ma homegirl. Stay hood Kath. 😉

Your lunch looks fabulous as always! Is there anything better than cheese & bread? I’ve got to get to Great Harvest asap. The breads you’ve been eating since Matt started working there have been making me crave their bread so much.

    Good luck with the tests!

Hope lab goes well! You are bringing back college memories with all that GH bread. I had one right next to my dorms and I lived on their bread!

My daughter asked me yesterday “can we have a Kath dinner?” I asked what she meant by that and she said “lots of different things on a plate!”

She wanted baby carrots, cheese and crackers with dill pickles, yogurt, and nuts!

The Parrano cheese is the BEST. Nothing better than a good slice a bread and great cheese. The only
thing that would help the paring is a amazing glass of wine 🙂 I went to my whole foods today. Damn still no Chobani .

    Runeatrepeat ,
He’s been working there at least 3 weeks. He’s working in the community relations department doing everything from food samples and demos (tomorrow he’s leaving a cooking demo class on tofu!) to working with nonprofits for fundraisers.

    B_Hlthy ,
I love all kinds of house shows 🙂 International isn’t my favorite because it’s hard to picture myself in a 1 br condo in Sweden so I like the USA ones more, but they are still fun to watch.

    mandy ,
Cool! I’m sure I’ll get to try more during future trips to Earthfare 🙂
