Packing List

We are having THE MOST GORGEOUS summer day!!!! It’s cool and breezy and like Autumn out there!! For this reason, I chose to pack my whole day in a bag and walk 3 miles to work.

IMG_3674 (640x427)

IMG_3668 (640x427)

The packing list

  • Gazpacho for 2 (in a jar)
  • Spoon
  • Lunch (in a glass container)
  • Fork
  • Giant camera
  • Wallet
  • Phone
  • Bakery clothes (socks, undergarments, shirt, shorts)
  • Dress for tonight
  • Shoes for tonight
  • Different undergarments for tonight
  • Shower gear
  • Makeup
  • Jewelry
  • Keys
  • Ice water bottle
  • Sunscreen (on!)
  • Sunglasses (on!)
  • Visor (on!)
  • Real Simple (in hands!)

The walk was wonderful, but my shoulders were tired despite wearing all the straps on my backpack!

At Body Pump, I packed it all on!! I really liked the new release music!! 3 awesome modern pop songs.

I was starving when I came home! No surprise.

IMG_3671 (640x427)

I dug into leftover millet salad mixed with some leftover chicken and sweet potatoes. Tasted SO good !!!

Dessert was a spoonful of our latest Naturally Nutty shipment: CHOCOLATE SUNFLOWER butter!!! It’s amazing!!

Matt and I are headed to UPS to ship these packages out. Then back to prepare for tonight. Whew!!

Also – I texted my sister this morning to say “It feels like Fall outside!” It really does and it made me super excited for Fall. I love summer but Fall is by far my favorite season.

Well done on the packing job – I’m impressed your shoulders didn’t fall off 😉

That is an impressive packing job! I used to have to pack bags like that all the time when I lived in Chicago, for my daily commute downtown (30 min on the train and about a mile of walking each way). I think your 3 mile walk in this gorgeous weather sounds much more pleasant though!

Depending on how often you’ll be sending stuff out, you might want to consider a UPS account to have the delivery person come to you!

The problem was in the boxes. We didn’t have any nor did we want to estimate how many we needed by pre-buying them

ah totally makes sense!!! once you know which ones you want though, you can order supplies as part of your account. depends on the size though I guess!! 🙂 the USPS ones are free.

The only thing with that is that UPS charges for pickups. It can be pricey if you do not ship a lot. Better off packing the boxes yourself then taking them to a UPS drop off to send out. A UPS account could save you some time. If you have a scale available you can weigh the packages and print the labels at the bakery. Then all you have to do is drop them off somewhere UPS picks up. Uline is a good source for packaging.

I make my own chocolate coconut cashew butter. I have a recipe for it. It’s actually very similar to the nut butter I use to coat my kale for chocolate coconut kale chips. Pretty much chocolate + nut butter is right up my alley. And SFSButter is my fave nut butter 🙂
