Over The Rainbow

IMG_4664Blog

Three cheers for Logan Airport! Short security line and free wifi!! I just had to watched a sponsored video to get through : )

Matt and I went on a run this morning. Somehow we really lucked out with the rain today – only a few drops during our run and on the way to the airport. (Hauling luggage to public transport in pouring rain sounds like my worst nightmare).

We ran about 4.5 miles along the Charles this morning and saw the most beautiful rainbow spanning across the Boston city skyline!!!

We showered, packed up and said goodbye to Larbs and Matt’s apartment

That’s such a great airplane lunch! I get so nervous when flying I’m often not very hungry..except for cross-country or international flights where 7-9 hours in the air will make anyone starving. I am surprised to hear how easy Logan was to get through, I wasn’t sure how we would do with the new security measures. Have a safe trip home!!

That was totally my lunch plan when flying home from DC in March. I particularly enjoyed eating eat while surrounded by all the crappy food choices in the airport. On a recent trip, I picked up a similar lunch from a smaller health food store. My husband was skeptical about it getting through airport security, but they didn’t bat an eye — which was a good thing, because getting between me and delicious food is NOT a good idea!
