Organized Chaos

In the midst of everything we had to do this morning, I dropped down and did 30 minutes of a Dave Farmar podcast. Time stopped. I said a mental thanks for my beautiful (rented) house and told it I would be back soon.

100 chatarangas later, i showered and repacked my bags with the same clothes, freshly washed. I’ll be wearing the same outfits as last weekend. Don’t judge!

We had no time or food for lunch at home, so we hit up Revolutionary Soup on the way out of town.

Chips as an appetizers! Love the.pickle ones.

A Spicy Peanut Tofu soup for me. A Grilled Tofu Curry wrap for him.  My soup was SO rich (in a good way today!) but also vegan, so I think peanuts must have been blended in. Mmmm!

It came with a lovely seeded roll, including fennel seeds, that I shared with Matt.

Lastly I had a big spinach salad with big fat raspberries, goat cheese and almonds. Delish!!

Leaving Cville is breaking my heart. It’s such a gorgeous fall day! Be back in 48 hours 🙂

It’s always SO nice to get a little yoga or workout in before having to be stuck in a car. The weather is GORGEOUS today here too!

Good for you for dropping everything to do some yoga before the trip. And it really looks like lunch was exceptional.

And the rosemary and olive chips look great.

I love Route 11 chips!! Did you know they are made in VA? Their facility is on Rt. 11 near Shenandoah. They give away samples of all their flavors – its awesome!

Thanks for sharing the info about Dave Farmar. I’ve been looking for a better yoga podcast, and haven’t been that into the 20 minute YogaDownload ones…I’ll look into this next week.

Have fun this weekend. And don’t worry, soon enough you’ll be settled into home again.

I drove through Charlottesville yesterday on the way from Chattanooga, TN to Richmond, where I’ll be running the half marathon tomorrow. The leaves were INSANELY beautiful and the scenic views along the interstate even had my 4-year-old in the backseat ooohing and aaahing! I also ate w/ my mom (who lives in Richmond area) at Olio today and we shared the same Smoked Salmon Nicoise salad you had recently. We were more than pleased and I’m so jealous that she and Dad live so close to it!
