On Call

Hey y’all!!

UVA

I am on call today to help out a friend who needs me, so things have been a little chaotic. I had to be near UVA around 11, so I decided to run there and run/walk around grounds while I waited.

UVA2

I took my phone with me in my pocket. I only have ONE song on my phone, so I ended up listening to it on repeat the whole time. Don’t hate me!! It was Jason Aldean + Kelly Clarkson’s “Don’t You Wanna Stay.” LOVE that song – even after an hour! It was like one whole long song : )

UVA3

I ended up running around for about 45 minutes and then took care of bizness and headed back home, quickly showered and bike raced to the bakery for the afternoon. It was quite the exercise hour!

UVA4

Things are festive at the bakery!! RAWR said the spider!!

Amanda is here and we’re talking about all kinds of fun recipe and improvements we can do to make the bakery super exciting and successful. Go franchise support!

IMG_8831 (600x450)

Also, GO curried tuna!!!! xoxoxo to this sandwich – especially on Cville Crunch!!

IMG_8832 (600x450)

We all shared a bag of chips while we munched.

IMG_8835 (600x450)

IMG_8834 (600x450)

And then because:

1) I can’t resist

2) I have a birthday hangover for sweets

3) they are so AMAZINGLY GOOD

We shared some sweets : ) I think I like our products more and more and more as times goes on! I was warned I’d get sick of them, and while my favorites change from week to week, they still always impress me with their deliciousness.

IMG_8836 (600x450)

We’re continuing to work. But you know what it means when GH is in town – we get to share our favorite restaurants with them!!!

I’m so sad our Great Harvest here in Pasadena is so limited in its supply—I am in love with Popeye bread, but they never have it! 🙁

So easy to come up with reasons to eat yummy baked goods (though usually I’ve eaten them and it’s after I come up with the reasons, the thought doesn’t have time to enter my mind between seeing, holding and munching! :))

I’m quite sad that we’ve run out of our Cville Crunch bread! Do other Great Harvest locations sell it under another name, or is it exclusive to you guys? I’d love to go to Charlottesville every week to pick up some more but it’s a bit of a trip!

EPIC bread spider. It kind of reminds me of the huge inflatable spider we have in my suite as a halloween decoration. Yah, it’s not exactly something that’s allowed in dorms, but we just won’t tell my RA that 🙂
