Note The Time!

We got out early tonight!! I really like Micro lab because all we do each week is look at last week’s results (which are usually cool) and set up next week’s. There’s lots of talk in the middle, but it’s nothing like the chaos of Chem labs. We were finished at 8 tonight, so I’m hope and typing and hoping to get in bed by 9 for an early morning workout!

I had a fabulous dinner on campus at 5:30 that I packed before I left to buy me my commute in time. I wasn’t really hungry at all yet (yay lunch!) but knew I had to eat or I’d be starving at 7:30. There is absolutely NO snacking allowed in the Micro lab!

I got this 2 oz pasta sample at EarthFare and decided cooking for one, it would be perfect tonight as the base for some homemade spaghetti sauce leftover from this weekend (we just cooked it to use up a bunch of maters).

I also cooked some eggplant and peppers form this week’s CSA delivery:

And topped it all with goat cheese!! I found an 8 oz log of goat cheese at TJ’s for only $3 or so – the price of a 4 oz log at Harris Teeter, so you’ll be seeing it a lot 🙂 The bowl was soooo delicious and filling.

I had a few grapes to cleanse my palate for dessert –

Once home, I had two little pieces of cheese-filled bread the husband saved for me from his dinner. It was good!!

Night 🙂

    Your pasta looks great!

I may have to start packing dinners too; I just signed up for a nutrition class on Mondays and Wednesdays after work, so we’ll see how that goes (it starts on the 22nd). You always give me great ideas for meals that I have to pack 🙂

Oh, that bread always looks delicious! I’ve only attempted bread once and it ended badly. I’ve been to nervous to give it another go. But Matt’s bread, bagels, etc. always looks so tasty!!

Oh everything looks so yummy. Glad you got out of class early. I’m sure that was nice.

Could you tell me what CSA stands for? The only CSA I know is that it stands for the name of the resort we stay at in Jamaica, Couples Swept Away LOL

Angie, CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Here’s a website you can use to find one in your neighborhood. www.localharvest.org

Is there a problem with Kahla’s comment (which if I’m getting the whole thing seems rude)? On my screen the wwww’s extend all the way across the page.

Cheese filled bread? Sounds like grilled cheese to me! Ever freeze grapes? Once they’re frozen, remove them from the freezer for a few minutes and then enjoy them, they’re incredible!

I loved it when night classes let out early, you feel so free! Are those purple green beans in your CSA box? If so, that’s awesome!
