Mission Aborted

Matt and I had the best of intentions to get up and run together at 6 this morning but when the alarm went off I could NOT wake up!! I am normally the light sleeper and wake up quickly and today even Matt was surprised when I refused to stir or open my eyes. Guess I really have been soaking in the sleep lately. The good news is the sun is out and it’s a gorgeous day and I’ve got the time later to bike to the gym 🙂

We made up for our couples’ run by making breakfast together.

OIAJ!

that is probably the perfect jar to use for oats in a jar! i hate jars with lots of stupid angles because its really hard to get everything out with a spoon. but the warm oats would melt all the delicious butter, making it a snap to eat.

Maybe your body is just trying to get readjusted after the travel + time change? It seems like that sometimes takes a while.

When I saw OIAJ, I immediately thought “ouija”, as in ouija board! Maybe your oats can predict your future? 😛

Enjoy the lipid metabolism research. I took a lipids class in grad school and thought it was fascinating!

    Traci,
I’m a winter yogi and have been going to hot vinyasa once a week. I can’t really afford to go any more.
