Radio fun with Mike!!

radioBlog

Our Breadcast should be up soon – I’ll keep you posted! We’re doing at least 4 of them as some pre-opening marketing for GH 🙂

After radio fun we went by to see Karen and bring her some goodies – TJ’s peanut butter and bagels. She’s having a bit of a rough time, but she says hello to you all : )

After that, we set out on a road trip to Blue Mountain Brewery for RD Day

IMG_3578Blog

IMG_3587BlogIMG_3580Blog

Matt and I shared four mini beers throughout the evening – delicious!!

IMG_3575BlogIMG_3573Blog

The Blue Ridge Dietetic Association provided some delicious appetizers and pizzas for the group

Matt and I had a great time with this spread of local meats, fruits, and cheeses

IMG_3572Blog

And loved the curry hummus!

IMG_3591Blog

We also split a green salad – because we’re nutritious!

IMG_3589Blog

But the pizzas – a local sausage and a veggie pesto with goat cheese – stole the show

PizzasBlog

I had a couple of slices – satisfied my pizza craving for the week!

A bowl of pretzels rounded out the night. Nothing goes better than pretzels and beer!

IMG_3593Blog

Tomorrow it’s going to rain, big time. I’m planning to take it easy at home as much as I can to get some work done before the weekend, but we have at least one bakery meeting already scheduled. Looks like we’ll be cranking up the automobile!

Nite!

Wow, what a spread! Those RD’s know how to do it!

Please pass on all of our encouragements to Karen; it’s great that she has you guys there to support her (and vice versa), but what a hard season :/ Lots of thoughts and prayers for her. Hope she is feeling better as soon as possible!

    Happy RD day!

Did you ever practice as an R.D in the “traditional” role? Do you miss it or think you would like it?

The crusts of those pizzas are to die for. Me and pizza are in love – it’s not really a healthy relationship though…;)

Those pizzas look so good — but what really caught my eye was the loaf of crusty bread on top of the meats and cheeses. I love crusty bread!

“breadcast” is hilarious — did you make that up or is it a GH term?

I hope Karen feels better soon — a TJs goodie bag is a good idea!
