Matt Is In Charge

Fun times at the bakery today

IMG_0210-2Blog

Lots to do! Including a break for a power walk with a new friend!

Followed by a snack of vanilla soy milk with the crumbles of the Cville Cluster bag

IMG_0209-2Blog

Matt and I charged through our list today and worked right through closing. I realized today that my Great Harvest email address had been frozen since JULY 16!!!!!!!!!! SO many missed emails – the horror. I spent the late afternoon responding and apologizing for the delay.

When I came out of the office, this was waiting for me:

Beerz-4Blog

Ladies [and gents], the best pumpkin beer ever. Matt snuck it in this afternoon when he ran an errand! Why do I suspect that he really goes out for a beer when he runs errands!? Just kidding – I told him to! He needed a break.

We shared this monster while he was on a call this evening and I twiddled my thumbs

IMG_0214-2Blog

When he hung up, he declared that he was not doing a single dish tonight and we were going out. I tried to protest and mumbled something about budgets and my LOOT app, but he won. We went out.

PizzanightBlog

Our third restaurant (because the first two we tried were closed) was Fry’s Spring Pizza! Love this place.

And love their hummus plate!!

IMG_0219-2Blog

We shared this to start

IMG_0220-2Blog

And then shared a Hot Pepperoni Pizza for dinner

IMG_0223-2Blog

I had two ooey gooey scrumdiddleyumptious slices.

IMG_0222-2Blog

And now the evening is calming down. Matt’s reading in bed and I’m off to join him.

It’s COLD out there folks. Chilly!
