Happy Spring, friends!!
We’re kicking things off with some super peanut butter toast! Cinnamon Raisin Walnut bread from Great Harvest plus bananas and Wild Friends Peanut Butter.
I also made a green smoothie with all the usuals – greens, a banana, milk, yogurt, chia – and I added some bran flakes to eat it like cereal…..because why not? It was good this way!
Next up: a fried egg, a piece of bacon, banana with almond butter, a few strawberries and coffee!
On the lunch front, a visit to the Struckmann’s! I brought kale and avocado for a salad and Sarah had leftover crockpot pork that we put on top.
Lunch at Brazos!! Their chip combo is my favorite – salsa, guac and a really delicious cheese dip!
Plus TWO tacos – a pork belly and avocado one and a fish taco with the onion-y slaw on the side.
This lunch was totally random. I feel like a lot of my at-home lunches are really odd these days. A leftover burger with cheese, ketchup for dunking and some veggie bites with hummus. I wish I could say this was a toddler plate! Ha!
For dinner I made a big kale salad with smashed avocado dressing, red pepper, and goat cheese. I likely had a bigger lunch that day! I had it with a little bit of wine on the side.
This dinner was actually from last weekend – pizza and beer at ACAC trivia night!
A random bowl of foods on Survivor night – rice, beans, cheese, green beans and chips! Sort of Mexican? Plus a little red on the side.
And finally, a snap of cookie making with my main squeeze.
But when our cookie cutter started sticking, we made free-form shapes, including this brontosaurus!
