KERF, Designed

KERF comes to life!!!

IMG_6985 (427x640)

Introducing my very own branded Victory Garden Poster! Joe created this based on KERF’s feel, and I am in loooove!!!

IMG_6987 (640x427)

I plan on having it framed, which is why it’s not hanging in my kitchen with the rest of my posters yet

Smile this !

In honor of the debut, I’ve got a celebration where you get one of your own if you’d like.

You can buy the Eat Real Food poster for $10 OR buy any of the other styles ($12) and get the KERF one for free! Here’s all the info: Victory Garden of Tomorrow.

image

And everybody gets free stickers and a tattoo!

IMG_6990 (640x427)

The stickers are pretty sweet. I put the greens one on my bike already, and Matt has claimed the tatoo!

IMG_6988 (640x427)

Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

Here is a foodie reminder that we all come in different shapes and sizes and are all beautiful in our own way.

IMG_6969 (640x427)IMG_6970 (640x427)IMG_6968 (640x427)

No one would say either apple is better than the other – because sometimes you want a cute little apple and sometimes you need a big crunch. Same with the zucchini – both are impressive in their own ways. Remember we’re all different shapes and each shape is cool!

Somebody liked the sunshine while we were gone!

IMG_6963 (640x427)

Butterhead lettuce straight from the garden!

IMG_6961 (640x427)

I had plans for a sandwich today but I ended up eating half of my sandwich standing at the counter. THIS.BREAD.IS.SO.GOOD. Flax Oat Bran is the best!

IMG_6962 (640x427)

Instead of a sandwich I had a salad with my other slice on the side – to celebrate all its doughiness without the interference of hummus or veg!

IMG_6979 (640x427)

IMG_6982 (640x427)

My salad was garden fresh greens, baby zucchini (also garden fresh), leftover hummus, sharp white cheddar and cinnamon almonds!! All dressed in olive oil, honey and sea salt. I think vinegar ruins salads.

IMG_6980 (640x427)

Half of the big honeycrisp on the side. I wish I could say our orchard apples were the best, but THIS apple was the best of the fall to date!

IMG_6977 (640x427)

IMG_6975 (640x427)

I have yet to shower OR exercise today – it’s been a busy morning! Matt and I have plans for an afternoon bike ride when we’re finished with work.

Adios!

And… honeycrisp apples are the best! They are so huge that one usually lasts me for 2-3 days. I should hope so, since they seem so much more $$ than all the other apples? What’s up with that? Worth every penny though.
