Kath Eats….Real Food!

When I left for noontime yoga I wasn’t hungry, but many warriors and 5 miles of biking later, I was starving!!!

Bring on the real food!

IMG_4368 (640x427) (2)

I made a platter of dips and nibbles:

Crunchy Bright Basil Bean Dip and Pumpkin Yogurt with Cinnamon

IMG_4377 (640x427) (2)

Celery, carrots, peppers for dipping

IMG_4373 (640x427) (2)

Orange for juice. I’ve been craving orange and it was just as good as I’d hoped!

IMG_4370 (640x427) (2)

I think these crackers should be called "Matt Crack"

 this !
The whole batch is already gone! Good thing he’s making more (recipe to come!)

IMG_4378 (640x427)

Lemon water is my new thing – I never buy lemons! This week I bought one and pre-sliced it into water-ready slices. It’s working so well. Must. Continue. This.

IMG_4369 (640x427) (2)

KERF was broken earlier – sorry there was a delay in posting. Thanks to Sean at Dreamhost for fixing the problem for me. Huge panic followed by an even HUGER sigh of relief. [ <– a word, right!?]

Matt tells me there’s a Schlafly beer tasting at Beer Run tonight, including a barleywine. We just might have to go for a little free beer! Hope they have the pumpkin!

Sorry to hear about KERF — I’m glad it is all better now.

I love meals with lots of different foods — it makes it so much more interesting, plus they are so easy to put together.

I like lemon in my water, and lime or cucumber slices are good as well!

You do have to go to the Schlafly tasting! Their beers are fantastic; so many varieties that there’s definitely something for everyone! Admittedly the Barleywine isn’t a favorite, but if they have it, try the Organic Pale Ale or the Oatmeal Stout. Yum!!
