If The Shoe Fits…

Buy 3 pairs!!

IMG_9354

Mom + Dad gave me a little moolah for my birthday and while I was out running errands today I just happened to duck into Rack Room Shoes, which was having a BOGO sale. Thanks M+D!

X*Appeal shoes are SO comfy! And I got all three pairs for $75!!

IMG_9355

I am in love with these pointy cowgirl boots

IMG_9343

Which only go half up so they are very comfy – and they were only $39!

IMG_9344

These are also VERY supportive due to the wedge and can be worn with skirts or jeans

IMG_9351

And my first pair of slouchy boots – they match so many things and my calves have lots of space! I am nervous about wearing them though because I am new to boots!

IMG_9352

I got home around 2PM in time for a delicious lunch

IMG_9342

Hummus + veg on Great Harvest Warrenton High Five Fiber! (Thanks to Karen for picking us up a loaf)

IMG_9337

Cinnamon Pink Lady

IMG_9348

Yogurt with POM and granoler!

IMG_9336

And some sweet tea (Splenda, I believe, which I do have once in a blue moon) made by Karen

PACK! VOTE!

I got a pair just like them at Payless for about $20 (and a BOGO)! The ones I saw at DSW that were similar were a bit pricier.

What a great deal on three pairs of shoes! I need some new boots too!

Sweet tea, that makes me think of a time we were on vacation in Virginia and the waitress approached our table and asked us if we wanted some sweet tea. Her accent was so thick that we had to ask her three times what she was saying! Finally we got figured it out! We had to pass though as it just sounded way to sweet for us!

I’m definitely a fan of comfort over fashion, especially when it comes to my feet, which I want healthy for many years of walking, running, and biking. Anything pointy-toed makes me cringe, as do most “regular” shoes, which just are not made in a true foot shape (i.e., wide toe box that does not cram your toes together).

I tried on skinny jeans and I didn’t like them. Then I tried the BR jeggings that Emily bought and I loved them. I always think I look too “hippy” in tight jeans, but these are really flattering.

The trick to skinny jeans; a long, flowey top. Don’t wear a tighter fitting top that stops at the top of your hip. Wear something a little looser that goes mid-booty or a little lower.
