How Do You Spell Hydration?

IMG_0735

Cycle class was tough this morning because I think I started it on the tired end of the spectrum. I chugged lots of water before class, which meant that I had to leave class in the middle to use the bathroom! I came home and sipped some coconut water. And then ate water in melon form!!

IMG_0740

Mmmm.

IMG_0742

Served alongside a lovely egg + avocado + jalapeno sandwich on High 5 bread

IMG_0744

Feeling more hydrated now……and of course I have to go to the bathroom again!

Yum! There is nothing like fresh watermelon! I hate cutting it though and taking out those black seeds. It’s time consuming but worth it in the end 🙂

I hopped on my bicycle this morning to tool around with my 5 year old in the trailer. Forgot how that thing acts like a sail in the wind. SERIOUS wind resistance. Didn’t eat before hand either, so after about five miles I had no energy left. Had to come home and eat some fage with barney butter before I collapsed. Watermelon would have been a nice addition, but so far the watermelons here have been lackluster! Yours looks delishy!

Whenever I see your egg/avacado sandwich I tell myself I am going to make that and then I forget about it until I see one of your posts about it! It looks so delicious…and the same for the watermelon. I don’t really want a WHOLE watermelon though as that would be a bit much for one person.

I love watermelon but like Hope says, I hate cutting it and taking out the black seeds… so I just cut it and spit out the seeds in the plate!
Kath, the bigger the baby gets, the more bathrooms breaks you’ll HAVE to take!

This morning I didn’t have time to make myself egss (which I have been craving) so I thought I would have them for dinner. I decided pretty much on my way into work that I would have an egg and avocado sandwich for dinner! There must be some sort of egg and avocado combo fever in the air!

Did you know watermelon is a natural diuretic? I just found that out. Maybe that is why you had to go to the bathroom… of course along with the fact you have a human being reclining on your bladder. 😉

Oh what I would do for some watermelon right now…sadly I just pulled the melon out of the fridge, and it looked rather sad. Oh well, juice infused sparkling water will have to suffice !

Yeah, usually. Unless I say (dinners lately I haven’t been finishing). It was a mini watermelon if that helps with perspective?

Watermelon sounds so refreshing! However, ever since I became pregnant, I have had an aversion to eggs, and especially the whites of the eggs. I can eat a dippy egg, and force the whites down, but it is not my fave.

The best part of the sandwich, though, is the avocado and jalapenos.
