Homework

LOVE working from home!! It’s just so much more pleasant. Makes me so excited for my future as a full-time blogger and writer and part-time bakery operator!

Breakfast held me over really well. Plus eating a little later always helps 🙂

I worked HARD all morning on my presentation. Lots of research on weight loss pills!

At 1PM I decided it was lunchtime and I had a great lunch in mind!

IMG_6622 (640x427)

Leftover lentil soup (on its last leg) and pumpkin and a little chicken broth and spinach and cinnamon and salt and pepper!

IMG_6616 (640x427)

Nuked.

IMG_6617 (640x427)

IMG_6625 (640x427)

With the pumpkin and cinnamon, this was just like oatmeal!! I almost went for a spoonful of peanut butter 🙂

IMG_6629 (640x427)

IMG_6632 (640x427)

And a crunch plate of apple, almonds and Dr. Kracker Seeded Spelt

IMG_6637 (640x427)

More tea!

IMG_6635 (640x427)

Souper filling!

Check out this fun video mom Emilie made with her kids being enthusiastic about vegetables! I hope I can be that cool of a mom 🙂

    Love that bowl!!! So earthy!

Kath, when you talk about being a writer, do you think you’ll always focus on doing shorter, free-lance stuff, or is it a goal of yours to someday write a book? Just curious!

I didn’t know you want to be a full-time blogger/writer. Are you becoming an RD to just make you more reputable with the letters after your name? You don’t actually want to work in an inpatient or outpatient setting???

Tons of RDs don’t work in clinical. Many are food writers or own private practices or do consulting or speaking.

When I went back to school 2.5 years ago I didn’t know what my future would hold. I had just started KERF and Matt was working in insurance! Life changes 🙂

It’s funny you posted that video about making veggies fun. I was talking to someone after yoga this morning who’s a mom and said that she give her kids “broccoli pops” which are basically cooked broccoli that she slightly freezes. She tells them not to tell Daddy that they were allowed to have it before dinner and they think it’s this cool, secret thing and something decadent when it’s just broccoli 🙂

I know this is off topic, but I’m wavering on buying the nutzo. I love almond butter and cashew butter. I HAVE to have something crunchy in my naner oatmeal or I can’t deal with the consistency. I usually add granola and some sort of nut butter. I think Nutzo would be right up my ally. I think I just talked myself into buying some. 😀

Being excited about what your future holds is a treasure. I felt that way during student teaching and after 11 years, I’m still excited about what I do. Enjoy the rest of the week!
