Hacky Sack

We had a bit of a rough, sleepless night. Matt is sick! He woke up a few times with GI distress. At 5 this morning he felt better and we debated whether or not he should go on his trip. Pros and cons. Ultimately we decided if he felt better at 1PM that he would really regret not getting on the plane, so I took him to the airport. I hope he’s doing ok! [We’re pretty sure it was something he ate and not a sickness to spread germs]

I slept pretty lightly all night and then came home and slept like a rock for another hour and a half.

I was also pretty hungry but didn’t want to eat and then sleep, and I’m quite sore from my run.

So I feel like my body was kicked around by a Hacky Sack when I got up at 7:30!! (Still battling a slight cold as well)

Hacky Sacks

I postponed yoga with Emily, who texted me to say SHE is sick too!!?!? If it hadn’t been 24 hours, I would guess maybe they both ate something at Friday’s dinner. Who knows.

I decided since

  1. Sickness was in the air
  2. It was Sunday and I had time
  3. I had veggies on their last leg

to make some green juice

IMG_6943 (640x427)

Kale, carrot, cuc, lemon, tangelo. The one piece of fruit makes such a difference. I like juice with apple the best though 🙂

IMG_6937 (640x427)

IMG_6945 (640x427)

I have also been waiting all week to have THIS for breakfast!

IMG_6946 (640x427)

A banana dog! [The original is one of my most famous posts! It has been on Stumble Upon a few times 🙂 ]

IMG_6951 (640x427)

A Great Harvest bun with half a huuuuge banana with Justin’s Maple Almond Butter and Crofter’s North America. WOW, this Crofter’s is 10x better than the last I had! It’s super chunky with berries!! I love chunky jams.

IMG_6939 (427x640)

Yum yum yum. I have to be in the right mood to eat a bread-based breakfast (I can’t be too hungry or I want the thickness of oats to fill me up) but this was perfect today.

Beverage #2

A penguin diving through a ring of fire!?

IMG_6941 (640x427)

I’ve got the whole morning to myself. What to do!? Oprah just had me crying on the couch. I think I need something more uplifting next! Anyone know where I can watch Glee online? We finished DVD 1!

I’m sorry everyone is ill!! Here’s hoping you don’t get it too :s
I really really want to try ajuice with kale in, I’m just too scared cos Kale has such a strong taste! One of these days I’ll be brave…
LOVE your breakfast!! Healthy fast food, it looks so fab 🙂 I’m just about to eat swede ‘fries’ myself, with kale crisps 😛
    Have a good day!

I love Glee too! I usually DVR it when it’s not on reruns, but if the DVR screws up I can always find it here –> http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=glee. The Fox website has them the morning after they first appear on TV. Hulu probably also has them.

My older brother and his friends used to play hacky sack and I thought they were sooooooo cool. 😛 Maybe try www.sidereel.com for links to Glee episodes – that’s the site I use for most things as, living outside of the US, the channel websites and hulu won’t work for me. Good luck feeling better. For the first time in about 5 days I briefly smelt something – I have never been ecstatic to smell cigarette smoke before! Now if only my sense of taste would reappear!

Per Gina (choosingraw), it needs to be drunk immediately — putting it in the fridge (or leaving it or whatever, just not consuming it) causes it to lose all the nutrients. You really need to drink it as soon as you make it.
