Gettin’ Them All Cut

Your wishes are granted: apron, travel mug, oatmeal bowl. No that is not a pet bowl. It is an oatmeal bowl!!

Apron  Travel Mug Bowl

KathEats @ Cafepress

I was hungry this morning and went to the cabinets for another end piece of GH Cranberry-Orange bread. Mmm!! And have been freezing all day – 3-4 cups of plain tea!

Lunchtime!

IMG_0170

I didn’t know what to have for lunch but I knew I wanted yogurt. Then I saw the sweet potatoes and remembered I had planned fries for today. I didn’t have the energy to make real fries, so I just popped him in the microwave and he was cooked in 5 minutes! Topped with a little butter and brown sugar –

Sweet potato

And I had my yogurt. About a half cup of Fage with 1/3 cupish mango (which I cut up last night when the cutting boards were out) and some GoLean Crunch on top.

greek yogurt + mango

This was a very filling lunch in the end, but only have two parts was weird. Y’all know how I like to have tons of lunch bites. I still think I fit in most of the food groups though 🙂

I am off to get all of my hairs cut (trimmed) and my layers refreshed. Tonight I am meeting other members of the local American Dietetics Association Nutrition Entrepreneurs practice group at Big Daddy’s Burger Bar. (At least I hope they are there – I RSVPed a long time ago!) I didn’t mean to go to a burger place two times in one week, but it just happened that way. I’m going to get another burger salad! The menu here looks much better than The Counter’s – more variety!

I LOVE the new pics. My camera is about three years old, the Canon SD 450 and all my pics look terrible. Could I need a new one already? Mine are no where near as nice as yours!

Kath just wanted to let you know you inspired me with your yoga ways. I have been wanting to get into it but kept putting it off but this morning I did a session! I can’t wait for more, thanks for you inspirations.

My product suggestion is KERF yoga mats! 😉 or maybe a cute little square or oval plate with a colorful design and a small logo, so you!

Good ol’ Cafepress merch. Love that the oatmeal bowl is a pet food bowl. And really, why not outfit your pet as well 😉

    Enjoy your meeting & burger.

The KERF store is a cute idea. Please let us know how it goes! I have often thought about doing a Cafe Press store. I’ve bought items from there in the past.

    Enjoy your night!

Jennifer- I think cafe press makes the $, not the designer of the merchandise…my husband designed a bunch of stuff on there before- it’s such a great site and the delivery of the items is super speedy!

Great merchandise! I love the oatmeal bowl – and I thought it was pretty funny that it’s under the “pet” category and it shows a picture of the bowl with pet food in it! I suggest using it for one purpose or the other! 😀 haha!

I had sweet potato in my lunch too! I can only eat them 1/4 at a time though.

also, i think it’s kinda funny that a dietitians group would meet at a burger joint. (although from the comments, it sounds like a healthy burger joint.)

I think it could be both a dog bowl and an oatmeal bowl. Recall that some dogs like oatmeal.

I love all the merchandise! Especially the one under the “Pets” section 😉 TOTALLY an oatmeal bowl!

I just had a sweet potato w/ butter + brown sugar for dinner. It was definitely filling. I had no idea that they could be used as a “main dish” but it definitely worked.

    Oh She Glows,
Thank you! Sportin’ the KERF gear.

    Amber ,
I should buy a KERF yoga mat myself! If they made them, I’d have ’em.

    Andy ,
No more than my usual Squiggly Line effect.

    Missy (Missy Maintains),
I don’t know about sweet potatoes, but I’d say throw out after a week.

    SmA033 ,
I poked 4 forks into it and then nuked on high for 5 minutes. Sometimes they do shrivel some..

    Nate ,
    LOL!!!!

Missy, if it still looks good, ie, not squishy in any areas, then it should still be fine. they can keep a little while.

SmA033, my trick for nuking sweet potatoes is to make sure its still wet, and then wrap it in plastic wrap and then nuke till its done, I usually flip halfway through, if the middle still needs to be cook a bit at the end I’ll cut it in half and microwave it for anothe rminute or so, I kinda like when it gets a little bit dried out, I don’t really love the wateryness. I’m also obsessed with korean sweet potatoes (or, the white flesh ones with the purple skin) they’re amazing after they’ve been baked for like 2 hours, they’re drier and kinda chestnutty, but sweet. so good. I can only find them at the asian markets though.
