Nothing Fancy

I have absolutely no clue what’s up with my sidebar. Working on it! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Did anyone notice when it happened? It wasn’t with the lunch post, correct?

So as it turns out, my nutrition dinner at Big Daddy’s was canceled due to low interest 🙁 I’m so glad I emailed to check or I would have shown up ready for the meeting alone!

My haircut was fun. I love getting my hair cut.

My lunch actually held me over really well, but I didn’t think I could make it to dinner without a snack around 5:00, so I had a little tasting bowl of crackers, nuts, apricots and Mrs. Mary’s Cranberry Almond Crunch clusters.

Since we had no plans for dinner, we had to whip something out of the pantry + freezer. The end result was actually quite delicious.

Here’s the recipe!

RDU Readers!

I will be traveling through Hillsborough on my way to Baltimore to visit my grandparents on Friday, January 16th. I’m planning a dinnertime get-together in Hillsborough – email me if you’d like to join the fun! [email protected].

Wine Snob

WendyF sent me this darling photo of her cat Stretch on New Year’s Eve! Apparently he is quite the connoisseur!

Stretch big night

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr again about blog issues.

G’night folks.

Your dinner looks amazing! I love beans for dessert. Do you have a favorite flavor? Have you tried the cinnamon toast flavor?

    Dinner looks amazing!

As for the sidebar thing, it wasn’t like that around lunchtime (at least when I was here). It also seems like the sidebar is below the comment box too.

    Meg ,
Toasted Marshmallow and Champagne Punch!! I don’t think I’ve had the Cinnamon Toast!

    Amanda,
Thanks and welcome! Wish the sidebar would fix itself!

    Becca A.,
I wish I could do a Baltimore dinner, but our trip is very short with only two nights and I need to spend those with my grandparents. I might be walking over to Towson Town Mall during the afternoon so if you live near there we could get coffee?

I was just watching Martha Stewart and saw this old-fashioned scone recipe. I thought of you as I recalled your quest for the perfect scone.

I think the problem with the sidebar is that the div called “subcontent” is ending in the wrong place. It ends right after your foodbuzz ad but it needs to end after all of your side items. There’s probably an extra after your foodbuzz ad. I think it might be the one after “”, so if you just remove it that might work? (I’m just looking at the source code of the page, so I can’t see everything.) I’m pretty sure that’s it.

Your dinner sounds wonderful…I actually planned something similar to that for next week, so I can’t wait.

I also wanted to let you know I tried the Gentle Hatha Yoga tonight while my power was out. I had downloaded the 20 minute class last night, so it was perfect by candlelight. I’m not a big fan of yoga either, but want to like it in hopes it’ll improve my running. I can definitely see myself enjoying it more with the downloads. Thanks for letting us know about it!

Mmm…jelly bellies. I got a pack of “Ooops” Jelly Bellies in my stocking, they were all oddly shaped and/or two or more stuck together; ones that were too defective to go in a regular pack. It was almost as fun to find the different shapes as it was to eat them!

Your pasta dish looks lovely and delish!

I like Luna Bars OK, but I prefer the mushed fruit/nut kinds. Lunas are a little too sweet for me for a snack.

    BWI Folks,
Unfortunately I am not going to have time to do a BWI dinner. I may be able to swing a mid-afternoon coffee break at the Towson mall, but I’d hate for you guys to drive far to spend 30 minutes chatting. But if you will email me at [email protected]om I’ll get an email going to see if anyone wants to do coffee.

    Amber ,
Cool! I’ll have to check into the mats, although I bet my logo isn’t big enough.
